“The views were spectacular. The dinning table was huge and had plenty of space for dinners with the family. Bedrooms were spacious. Any questions we had were answered and resolved quickly. “Place was ok… Not in the best of neighborhoods, but overall had a scenic view of the Bay Area. Water does not get real hot, and runs out quickly. Communication with the property manager was a problem prior to our arrival and once we arrived at the property. Overall I would rate this place a 3 out 5.”

“Absolutely loved this condo. From the swim out pool in the condo, to the the beautiful landscaping. The larger pool was rarely occupied. The property management was quick to fix the few issues that we had upon arrival. Location was great for getting to either side of the island, although a golf cart is definitely needed if you plan on going anywhere on a daily basis. There was a lovely dog who came to visit daily. “New property with lots of space. Very clean and secure. Views were better than expected. So close to beach and quieter part of island. Rented a golf cart for $75 a day and was so easy to get around island. Definitely get a golf cart if you stay at this property. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Was just me and my girlfriend but the place could fit a large family very comfortably.”

“The photos don’t do this place justice. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing a long list of tips and recommendations, and even connected me with an amazing massage therapist whose studio is just a short walk from Villa Amistad. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the house manager responded quickly whenever I had questions. My favorite features were the gorgeous pool, the wonderful rooftop, and the super comfortable bed. I can’t wait to come back!”

“Property exactly as described. Amazing view and right by the town square. Golfcart rental and market next door. We had a few minor issues bc of a tropical storm but the host ensured we were able to arrive at a different casita with same view. We had an issue with the door one day and the manager was on site in less than 5 minutes and worked to get us in. Pool was clean and cold and other amenities were as described as well. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!”

"I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay was so wonderful I just had to share it. Every staff member was friendly, polite, and always smiling. Their warmth made such a difference and really made us feel welcome. The food was amazing — we tried teppanyaki, French dishes, and everything tasted great. The restaurants were beautiful, and the cocktails at the pool bar were unforgettable. I’m not even a big drinker, but every drink was delicious! Our room was cleaned twice a day, and the staff were so thoughtful, even organizing our things neatly. Room service was fast and polite, and there were plenty of fun activities like water volleyball. My partner is very social, and soon the staff all knew us — they always greeted us with big smiles. I also appreciated that no one tried to sell us memberships or packages. We could just relax and enjoy our time. Funny enough, as I was leaving, I actually thought, I want to come back next year — maybe even as a member! Before booking, I saw some mixed reviews from 2023, but everything on this trip exceeded my expectations. The service, food, and atmosphere were all perfect. I highly recommend this resort — it truly made our vacation unforgettable."
