“We had the exclusief appartement, that was to the back, and that was really nice and silent. The complex is a bit more up the mountain and not that "next" to the water/center what was perfect for us! (more silence).
And even then everything in near you, supermarket at walking distance, or just a 5-10 min drive to the river.
Plenty of restaurants, hikes, activities to do.
Rooms where nice and spacious, kitchen was equipped with all you needed. And it was clean.
There is a parking garage below……

Værtsparret har boet nogle år i Danmark og kan derfor dansk. Dejlig morgenmad, som kan serveres i haven. Vi købte også en flaske vin og et pølse/ostebræt, som var virkelig godt. ”

“The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The place is perfect for quiet respite, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast! I recommend to anyone for solo stay or couple gateaway! Their wines are great too!
Just make sure to have food for dinner if you want to relax for the evening as everything is pretty far. But the drive is gorgeous and fun!
