“The size of the room exceeded my expectations. Really lovely property, nice outlook, covered verandah for socialising, really nice owner. Wish there was a bit more cooking facilities, ie electric hob, but the owners were great about it and offered a microwave and there is a BBQ you can use. Highly recommend!”

“The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! The owner was in contact quickly with lots of useful information. The property is in a neighborhood that is fairly remote. We stopped in Kawhia……

“Fabulous location and house, walking distance to town and wharf. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend. What a treat with the fire as it warmed the whole place. It was so lovely, clean and the feather pillows and beds were super comfortable. The sun drenched deck was inviting. We really enjoyed the local coffee and citrus treats.
