“We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. It was perfect for 4 adults. Plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked with dishes. We would certainly stay here again. The only down side, lots of stairs from the parking lot to our unit on the second floor.”

“We both enjoyed the Treehouse inside and out. The views were magnificent. Weather was great. It was neat to see the fog come down and sweep past us during the storm the last night there! It’s so quiet and peaceful. Everyone in town was marvelous and the town restaurants were delicious too! Our favorite part…the 91 steps up and down! LOL You do get used to them and keeps your weight down! Oh and also the enormous pine cones! We don’t have them that size here in Delaware! We would definitely stay……

“Very quiet at night. Expected bird noises from the roosters, turkeys, ducks, chickens and pheasants. All the birds were very respectful. All the other animals were very polite as well. Bed was comfortable and the place has character. Fresh duck eggs were provided and they were delicious. Enjoyed our stay and ten minutes to/from Hawkwatch winery….the best wine on the North Mountain Wine Trail. Thanks Amber and Steve.”

“We had a lovely visit to Borrego in this comfortable home away from home. Our family reunion was a success with more than enough room to spread out for games, bbq dinners, socializing on the back patio, enjoying the cowboy pool (awesome way to cool off on those hot days!) and amazing stargazing! The well stocked kitchen was a plus for the cooks in our group, and the games and occasional movies kept the littler ones equally entertained. Our host, Paul, was super accessible for any needs,……

“This was the first time I have stayed in Oak Hill Inn but it won't be my last. My room was charming and quiet, plenty big enough for two though it was just me this time. The last time I stayed in Julian it was at the Julian Hotel and I felt confined and claustrophobic (I had to leave the room to change my mind). No such issues at the Oak Hill Inn. A big plus is that it's just a five minute walk up the hill to reach the heart of Julian. It is a bit tricky getting into the room, as the entrance is……

“Majestic House was all we expected and unique! A very cool vibe, well stocked, nice layout, and plenty of room for our group of 6 woman. The layout, closets and dressing rooms give you plenty of space for the luggage. The 2 pullouts were a bit hard, but plenty of blankets to make them more comfy. We made great use of the pool, about 75 degrees, but refreshing. Could use some movable umbrellas. Great playroom, which we didn’t use. Couldn’t figure out the larger oven, but used the smaller……

“Absolutely stunning views, we spent almost all of our time out on the big deck that has views that go forever. Made time for a hike in Palomar State Park and toured the Palomar observatory, both are about a 10 minute drive from the cabin. The cabin was spotless, had everything we needed, and our host Tracey was communicative and let us know everything we needed to know ahead of time. Wonderful little touches like a small blanket for everyone to wrap around in the cool evenings, and the kitchen……
