“This cabin was great! It was definitely pretty remote, so wifi/service didn’t work too well and there’s not really any stores or restaurants around but that’s ok. “We were disappointed in the hot tub and did not use it. The water was cloudy. I didn't bother contacting the host about it because we wouldn't have felt comfortable using it after that. The water inside the cabin smelled, I do realize it was well water. The access to the goats was not good, there was what we thought was another rental behind us and we didn't want to disturb them. Sweet cat and kitten came to visit. The cottage was cute but needed some maintenance.”

The A-frame was exceptionally clean and very comfortable this was my third trip to Hocking hills and by far the best this is definitely my go-to property going forward I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Chalets they are centrally located near everything you could ever want to do in the area stores were close as well as all the hiking trails. “This place was so great! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable. The fireplace made the whole place so cozy, we were worried coming up in January with all the glass that it would be chilly, but it was nice and warm. We had so much fun looking at the sheep and meeting the farm dogs. We always look forward to going back after our day of hikes. I would definitely stay here again! ”

“The hot tub was awesome. The cabin was ok. The thermostat was locked so the temp in the cabin stayed between 64-68 degrees with below zero temps outside. Also, there are gaps in the wood walls in the downstairs bedroom so that room was way colder than the 64 degrees showing on the thermostat. The dishes were scant and I was glad we had planned on going out to eat for our stay. There would not have been enough pots/pans, etc if we had wanted to cook. The cabin was clean but disappointing overall....

“We completely felt like we were in a treehouse! Great deck/wrap-around porch and hot tub. The walk from the parking to the cabin is over a minute and more like a little hike. We were thankful for the wagon provided. The stairway to the loft is VERY steep! Be extra cautious going down the steps. The main level bedroom is tight; barely room to walk around the bed and no place to put your bag or clothes. A beautiful cabin with nice upgrades to the kitchenette and bathroom.”
