Car Rental Fukuokacho

There are lots of things to see and do in Fukuokacho, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can wander around the surrounding region at your own pace. Add these awesome places to your to-do list:

• You'll discover Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan and lots more intriguing sights in Osaka. From Fukuokacho, it's approximately 85 miles away.
• Approximately 110 miles away, Kyoto is also a favorite with travelers. Make sure you get to Kiyomizu Temple while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this vibrant city.
• Spend time in the great outdoors and inhale the fresh air at Shirotori Garden. It's approximately 170 miles from Fukuokacho.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Japan, then you might need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. Also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before driving away. You typically can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
