Car Rental Uzupis

There are lots of things to see and do in Uzupis, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Rent a set of wheels and you can cruise around the greater area at your own pace. Add these awesome places to your itinerary:

• Head off to Kaunas for a fun-filled sightseeing adventure. Around 55 miles from Uzupis, it has numerous cool attractions such as Kaunas Castle.
• Why not check out all that's on offer in Siauliai too? Top sights to see here include Siauliai Arena. Siauliai is about 120 miles from Uzupis.
• Visit Kursiu Nerija National Park Visitor's Centre to feel grounded in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From Uzupis, it's roughly 180 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Lithuania, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or over in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before you drive off the lot. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on off-road areas with your rental car.
