Car Rental Yongding

There's heaps to do in Yongding, but head farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can explore the greater area at your leisure. Add these awesome destinations to your travel plan:

• You'll find Three Gorges Dam and loads more interesting attractions in Yichang. From Yongding, it's about 120 miles away.
• About 60 miles away, Changde is also a hit with travelers. Be sure to take in Changde Poem Wall while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love coming to this vibrant city.
• Find your way to Wulong Karst geological park to rediscover nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax in the fresh air. From Yongding, it's 170 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in China, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. Also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. A few other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before you drive off the lot. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with your rental car.
