“The beach area is not very good . It's a rocky area. Not good for swimming”

“It's always a pleasure to stay at Royal DeCameron. Security, a variety of dining options, family friendly, etc. However, if you have a light sleep, it'd be a little hard since there's music until about 2 am (at the disco) and people start working very early. Thus, if they'd invest in room isolation, that would be great. Moreover, I don't recommend leaving your valuables without security. Use the safe or carry your lock if you don't want to have a bitter experience. ”

“This hotel has a lot going for it. Once inside you wouldn’t even know the city of Manta was just outside. The Bungalow area with pool is easy on the eyes and the room inside and out was very comfortable and welcoming. Next visit to Manta we will plan a longer stay for sure. For beach or shopping and local eateries it is a very convenient location. To top it all the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to help make our stay perfect.”

“Muy completo el hotel, falto el parking, no se porque no me incluyo en mi reserva además que me mandaron a 1 cuadra de donde esta el hotel porque allá tienen mas habitaciones. Falta mantenimiento en ese edificio, la puerta principal tiene fallas. ”

“Unique old hotel that has a bed and breakfast feel. Clean and comfortable room an easy walk to the main beach. Very helpful and friendly staff. ”

“We always write what we did like and what we didn't like so much. Onto the not so much to get to the awesome! The only thing we can think of is we didn't feel as secure as we could have with the room. The windows can't be left open (screens) if you want your items as protected as possible that makes it stuffy and warmer in the room when you are gone. However, staff is around, it's a close knit community, theft would be rare and would probable come from a guest. We DID like the staff, amazing……

“Owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly hostal with no partying, drinking, loud music. Made it easy to sleep. Rooms are basic, no AC, no hot water but private bathroom in our room. Bedroom could use fresh coat of paint but everything was clean. For the price it was a great value. Without a car it is likely further from the beach than easily accessible. We had our own car so it was a short drive. We would definitely recommend this hostal.”
