“The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The availability of a small kitchen facility in the room was not advertised but very welcome. The TV channel 'list' in the room gave the impression that only 'local' channels were available when in fact (by luck) I found there were many more international news channels, etc. Which was a bonus. The location was very quiet (end of September) but well situated. Overall I had great visit and would not consider anywhere else should I return to……

“We stayed here only for sleep. It's an ordinary hotel located at the outskirt of Caen. Room was clean and cozy, and they supplies breakfast. There's parking lot for guests.(free) And the price was super cheap. Totally recommended if you just want to take a rest from a long drive.”

“Very helpful staff. Close to everything and especially restaurants like Monsieur Louis on Pl. Saint-Sauveur. Only small complaint would be how tight the bathroom was. A tall person would have trouble sitting on the toilet in the room I had on the 4th floor. But nice view from the balcony.”

“We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. ”

“Nice Hotel. We stayed in the family room in July of 2025 where there is a door that separates the other bedroom, which was nice as we stayed with our 2 adult children. The rooms did not have AC, but they do have windows that open (no screens unfortunately) that brought in cool air. We paid for their breakfast which was pretty good. Only about a 15 minute car ride to the Juno Beach museum. They have a parking lot, but with only about 10 stalls. We had to park in the front which was fine. ……
