Charmer in Downtown SA. Near River Walk / Alamo!

Our beautiful light filled home built at the turn of the century is located in the Five Points Neighborhood of Downtown San Antonio. Our home is a short drive to all the major attractions, including the River Walk, The Alamo, Six Flags, and SeaWorld, and is walkable to many restaurants, stores, and conveniences We provide an amazing outdoor oasis that includes a gazebo with a fan to give you shelter from the sun on those hot days, and a lighted firepit area to enjoy the outdoors day or night.

After heading up the large front porch you enter the home into a large foyer area with a bench to sit on. From the foyer you can walk straight into the sitting room, a nice comfortable spot in the center of the home with a speakeasy feel to it. The two dedicated bedrooms are large with tons of light entering through the massive windows with area rugs and ceiling fans, and king sized beds. There is an additional bed in the main living room that is a queen size sofa bed also. There are two bathrooms, one with a standing shower and one with a clawfoot soaking tub.

Our guests have access to our entire home with the exception of our locked supply and linen closet.

Our neighborhood is filled with many long-time residents, some well over 30 years. The neighbors are amazing people and very friendly. It is a downtown neighborhood, however, and there can be some transients/homeless walking around as in any downtown neighborhood. We have always had pleasant interactions with everyone. There is Sanchos Cantina, the Cove, and MK Davis restaurants, all within a very short walk as well as a local market for basic groceries just a block away. Also, being in downtown, it can be more noisy that a rural area home so please be aware of that also.

San Antonio has a seeminglyendless list of things to do! We find that the quickest way from point a to point b outside of walking distance is Rideshare such as Uber or Lyft You may also opt to take the city bus which can be caught just a half block away.

We provide a BBQ grill under a fan cooled gazebo. Or you can visit the firepit area and our propane fueled fire table. The backyard is an amazing place to relax.
