“Beautiful quiet secluded place. Lovely host. Lots of condiments etc that were available and natural products to purchase. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Accommodation also included a sauna (which unfortunately we did not have enough time to use). Please note that the shower was over the top of a shub and as I am quite short was a tad awkward to get out of, however there was a very sturdy handrail to hold onto to assist. I would stay there again for the peace and quiet.”

“Good place to stay, only comment, the confusion of which lock box, to which unit of stay. Different group of people arriving on property trying to get in, was a little unnerving. No light bulb on porch to front door. Should label them clearly, as listed as two different street address same house!”

“Kia ora! We used this whare as a research retreat to do some writing and some deep thinking. The accommodations were lovely, clean, and tidy. An extra nice touch was a load of wood being dropped off at the whare if we needed it, and a 10% discount at the cafe, literally at the end of the driveway, was very convenient and a lovely touch of hospitality. Thank you, Emma, for looking after the crew. Highly recommend”
