“Place needs an upgrade… smelly hallways and room - needs to remove the used furniture and get some new or at least cleaned. Didn’t feel like we could even sit on the furniture. Bed was fine - but old comforter and pillows… Carpet and walls need deep cleaning or would be great if had new paint and doors dented. Walls were paper thin - could hear everything in hallways and next rooms. Has been used and abused. Even had a tarp on the roof near the office/desk area. Location was super, but……

“Didn’t realize I was staying in the basement of a home where the Host family was so inconsiderate to the amount of noise that they were creating by stomping around for 3 plus hour on my first. Asked that they be more considerate and they stopped stomping around for about 20 minutes and the it continue until 11:30pm. The smells of the basement area were a little over whelming when I checked in and I was able to open a window. Sorry I’d couldn’t take the lack of consideration from the host……

“We had a small room in the fifties building and at night while the a/c was running, it was very loud and turned on and off many times w/in an hours time so our sleep was very interrupted.
