Great location

Check in was easy and we had zero problems locating or accessing the house. The house itself was ok. Not a lot of comfortable seating on the main level for a house that sleeps 14. The house needs updates! The upstairs shower is grimy and the tile floor is cracked. The downstairs bathroom has scratches all over from a dog being stored in there. There is an old washer and dryer unit sitting on the porch, based on older reviews, it’s been there a while. This wasn’t the view we’d hoped for. There was also a dirty diaper stuck in a tree branch next to the drive way. Talk about scenery 😞I am also not a fan of being charged a cleaning fee and then being asked to wash and put away all the dishes or carry all the laundry up or down to the main level. Not a bad stay, just not a house we will revisit. There are too many other properties to see. The saying is true though, you get what you pay for and this was a great value for sure.

Needs some love.

Everything was awesome with our stay. Property had many things wrong with it. Has black mold in living room, fridge is falling apart, upstairs bedroom leaked when it rained, kitchen cabinets are falling apart and the guttering fell off the side of the house during our stay. Needs some tender loving car.

Great Stay

The cabin was beautiful and in a great location. We had our extended family all stay together ranging from toddler to mid 70's. The hot tub was fully operational and well used through our stay. Management was very accommodating, pleasant, and quick with any needs we had. The cabin is what we expected with being pet friendly and is well used but not run down. The toiletries and towels are basic but we were notified of that before we ever visited and came prepared. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay and we would stay here again.

This place needs some Love!

From the outside it’s a nice cabin. The beautiful wrap around porch was filthy and we couldn’t take advantage of the porch chairs at all. The layout of the house is very nice however not everything was in working order. The kitchen had 4 coffee pots but not dish towels, weird. Coffee took over two hours. The end tables had lights but none worked and the cabin was decorated with cobwebs. I mean big and thick like how can the cleaning people not see that?! The site said sofa bed in the basement, there is a couch no sofa bed. The futon bed must be very old because it was terribly uncomfortable. I’ve used VRBO on different occasions and have been very satisfied but this cabin seemed to be just a daily rental and no real attention paid to it.

Not a good place

Ice maker clogged. Hot tub wasn’t working and had grit in bottom. Kitchen table and chairs filthy with sticky stuff on them. Fouton broke, toilet seat loose. Chairs broke downstairs, chipped pool ball. No darts for dart board or checkers for table. I paid 1600 for three nights. Will not be using VRBO or book with natural retreats again

Birthday Weekend Getaway

I want to start by saying the property management team was very responsive so that was definitely a plus and made up for some of the things that went wrong. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken during our stay, which was a big factor in us deciding on this cabin. The management team did everything they could but due to a mix up it was unable to get fixed while we were there. Definitely a bummer, but again, they did everything they could so I can’t be mad about that. We had no plans to go into town because of Covid so the proximity to everything wasn’t important to us, but it is very close to everything if that is important to you. Plenty of room for all 13 adults to sleep comfortably. One thing I found very strange is that there was no hand soap in the house. I’ve never stayed in anywhere where I had to provide that myself so I found that odd, especially in the middle of a pandemic. Not a huge deal, we just went and got some, but just something to make note of so you don’t have to make an extra trip to the store. Also, grab a small pack of toilet paper. We were only there two nights and needed more during our stay. Other that the hot tub not working, we loved the cabin and would definitely consider returning there for a future stay.

Family Thanksgiving/Christmas

Our family met here from Michigan, Ohio, and Georgia. The location is great and had enough room for all of us. One more bed or bedroom would have been better but my nephew was fine sleeping on the couch. We could have brought a blow up bed and there would have been room to use that. (Just in case anyone wants to do that) Kitchen is good size for cooking meals, however, having a couple of hot pads/oven mits would have been nice. Also would have liked a couple of dish cloths and extra dish towels to dry dishes. We didn’t use the hot tub like we thought we would have, however, when my Dad and niece went to use it they said it wasn’t worth it. Jets did NOT work. My Dad said the master bath jet tub was better than the hot tub. Probably should update it or just remove it. Bedding is comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the pool table but really sat around the kitchen table playing cards and dice more than playing pool. There is an area to use for outdoor fires, but we didn’t have any. We would stay here again but wouldn’t count on using the hot tub.

Spacious hideaway!

Exactly what we were looking for! Off the beaten path, rural, spacious, and those evenings spent on the porch listening to nature's symphony! You can't go wrong with this place! Would definitely recommend!
