住宿简介

Nice & Spacious House in Silsbee w/ Self Check-in

  • Travel and Stay in this four bedroom house in a peaceful neighborhood and live like a true local in Silsbee while exploring nature!
We are only a few minutes to parks and Nature and Wildlife sanctuaries.
This is the best place to do nature and wildlife tours.

Note: there are train tracks behind the house.

Our home in Texas embraces the warm weather, humidity, and abundant woodlands, seamlessly blending into the natural landscape. It is a haven for various species of wildlife, including foxes, deer, coyotes, armadillos, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, ducks, woodpeckers, Cardinals, Blue Jays, and more.
Additionally, our surroundings teem with smaller critters like lizards, frogs, honeybees, and other insects. It's important to note that encounters with Mother Nature's creatures are part of the experience, and therefore, we do not provide refunds for such encounters. As a playful nod to Texas, it's often said that the flying cockroach is the state bird. We invite you to revel in the natural beauty that surrounds us!

Big house great yard easy access

Landon is easy to communicate with and helps any time necessary. The house is lovely and big, and the yard is great with a fabulous little fenced in area. It is exactly as pictured. The train is loud the first couple of nights, but you get use to it. And the overall location in the neighborhood and surrounding Silsbee area is worth the little bit of noise if you are working/visiting the area. Highly recommend

Did not stay it was not as presented as listed on the VROB site. It was unsafe and could not stay.

It was not as advertised on the website. I have tried to work this out with the owner. When I got there I contacted the Host which was Landon. He told me to not stay there and VRBO would pay me back. However, that was a false statement. I sent the pictures of the problems. VRBO shared with Host. He however refused to talk with VRBO. No I will not use this site again. It was falsely advertised. I did not get my payment back and not even the deposit back.

I try to be fair when reviewing properties, and I understand that no rental will ever be absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below even basic cleanliness and hospitality standards.I arrived shortly after check-in and immediately noticed signs that the property had not been properly prepared between guests, including a toilet that had been left unflushed. As I continued inspecting the unit, I found additional concerns throughout the property, including grime on high-touch surfaces, food residue in the kitchen area, dirty cleaning supplies, debris in furniture, and cockroaches. The most concerning issue was the condition of the bedding. The sheets were visibly stained with what appeared to be bodily fluids, and the mattress itself lacked a protective cover. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying in the property. I contacted the owner’s assistant immediately and was told someone could come clean the property after my arrival, but no timeframe or accommodation was provided while this would supposedly take place. Once I reported the condition of the bedding and explained that I could not stay, communication effectively stopped.I made multiple attempts to resolve the issue through both the owner and Vrbo, including several calls and emails, but ultimately had to dispute the charges through my credit card company after being denied a refund for a property I couldn’t occupy. If you think Vrbo is here to protect you I can tell you they are not.
