“Gorgeous, enormous room in this beautiful hotel”

“A classic hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly and competent receptionists. Nice breakfast. Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. Have to queue for half an hour at the taxi stop.”

“The room was nice and big but quite warm with no air conditioning. I was offered a fan but I am a light sleeper and we did have the windows open but it was quite noisy early morning. Having said that it would not put me off staying again in the same hotel. The hotel is perfectly positioned between Retford and Doncaster ideal for visiting family and friends.”

“All the staff are all really friendly and helpful, they responded my email quickly before my stay. I was supposed to get a mail delivered at the hotel and they tried their best to keep looking for my mail. It was really helpful for them to do so. The hotel room is clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is good, supermarket is just next to it and town centre is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to all.”

“I found my stay at The Elms to be very pleasant and convenient. I stayed in The Stables just around the corner from the main hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of teas and coffees. The shower was decent. I enjoyed a good night's sleep. I also had dinner at the Indian Restaurant within the hotel. If I am in the area again, I will have no hesitation in staying there again”
