This rural retreat is the perfect blend of comfort and convenience and is ideal for couples and small families with the dog in tow wishing to experience peaceful country life. With its idyllic location on the outskirts of Somerton, this cabin serves as the perfect base for exploring all that Somerset has to offer. Embark on scenic walks through rolling hills and charming villages, discover historic landmarks and cultural attractions, or simply immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the countryside. Sitting just 2 miles from the heart of Somerton, guests have easy access to local amenities including shops, restaurants, and attractions. Whether you're stocking up on supplies or dining in a cosy country pub, everything you need is within easy reach. Check out some popular West Country attractions such as Clarks Village shopping outlet (8 miles), Glastonbury Tor (10 miles) and Wookey Hole (17 miles).
Step inside to discover a welcoming, open-plan living area where the kitchen, diner and lounge seamlessly blend together. With wooden panelling and natural light streaming through the windows, the cabin offers a Scandi-style atmosphere, yet instead of snowy mountains, you’re surrounded by lush, rolling countryside. When stomachs start to rumble, prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances and all the utensils you need to cook up a storm. The cabin offers two inviting bedrooms, providing ample space for up to three guests. Unwind in the warmth of the countryside in the snug double bedroom or enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in the cosy single bedroom. With comfortable bedding and rustic charm, you'll feel right at home. A spacious, well-appointed bathroom with a bath and separate shower completes the interior of the cabin.
Step outside onto the pretty, wrap-around veranda, where you can soak up the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a leisurely al fresco meal, the veranda provides the ideal spot to bask in the beauty of nature. And with a spacious lawn garden, there's plenty of room for outdoor activities, from sunbathing and picnicking to playing games with the family. This is also a great spot for the dogs to relax in the sun after days of walking.

Beautiful peaceful location

A slice of paradise can be found here. The property has all the convenience of being in your own home with the added benefit of gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. The hosts are lovely and helped make our stay enjoyable. Hope to return again.
