"The cabin was in terrible condition. It felt dirty and worn out. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool looked lovely. I didn’t actually realise that a ferry had to be taken to reach the resort. I wouldn’t stay here again as it was isolated and I wanted to be closer to Ballina."

"Do not book the Studio room! Upgrade to the Villa or don’t stay here. The Studio rooms are barely bigger than a prison cell and are nowhere near 5 star hotel quality. The property is neat and the staff are so nice. Just don’t book the Studio rooms."

"The Bowlo is a great place to stay, great location, close to the beach and the town centre. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the only issue we had was the overpowering smell of bleach when we opened the door on arrival, we needed to keep the door and windows opened for a few hours ..."

"We have stayed at this property before and enjoyed a 10/10 experience. Not so on this occasion. Mainly due to my choice of the room, but in part also the 2 noisy groups of arrogant guests above this room during our stay. Constant thumping as they stomped around and irritating chalkboard like scratching ..."
