“I recently stayed at the Shirley Retreat Hotel in Jamaica and had a truly wonderful experience. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, which made the entire stay feel smooth from start to finish. My room was spotless, the bathroom was very clean, the sheets were crisp and fresh, and the King bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff added even more to the stay. The security guard at night, Patrick, and another gentleman who worked during the day were always present on the property and……

“Amazing views and the host offered me great insight into the area and history of Jamaica and Kingston It is NOT close to the actual city. I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites. It was clean and I felt safe the whole time”
