This property is so misleading from the pictures . The rooms are in desperate need of Renovations. Our shower left standing water , toilet leaked, AC never went below 78 and everything smelled. We stayed here 20 years ago for a bachelorette party and truly nothing has changed since. I will never stay here again. The price for what you get is robbery. The location is very nice, the beach is beautiful, but the pool is small and water was cloudy, full and packed of people because it’s not the appropriate size for the hotel.

We have stayed here before years ago. This time was different... the property seems outdated with a lot of things not working or just painted over or patched in the rooms. We were on the second floor looking over the courtyard, room 2217. Our room was very noisy between the elevator, the ac handler and water pipes.. The Beach access, the chairs with umbrellas, and the slide were nice.

Rooms were outdated , elevators in our building did not work , room had a leak on the roof in the bathroom and I found a couple roaches in the room , hotel is a little ran down and they blame it on still being under renovations from the hurricane last year. One of our parties had to have there room changed due too roof leak and fridge not working, room door did not lock , I can go on for days !

Beautiful beaches great location and dining options. Rooms need upgrading esp the sofa bed and drawers that don’t stay shut. A lot of family fun activities we enjoyed the amenities.

Outdated,$200 daily deposit fee… plus $25 parking fee… Got stuck on the elevators Customer service very unprofessional 20 minutes to find parking Room keys didn’t work Shower was clogged No lightning in Pool area A lot of exposed electrical wires Decor and furniture very outdated Front desk never answered the phone $20 for every hour if you go over 11am check out time No sound proof rooms u can hear everything going on the other room and hallways Definitely 1 Star will not return to this place..

I will not be booking this hotel in the future. The elevator we had to take was slow slow we ended up using the stairs most of the time because of the extended wait (10+ minutes), which led us to empty hallways with dozens of fans drying out the wet carpet. The slide was not set up the first day and the second day is we waited for hours before bed Nh able to stand in line with 50 other people. The room was not bad, the beach was nice, but for the price paid, I’d recommend another location.

Room the floor was dirty all the time I had to for it to be swept. Fan in bathroom did not work lady up in the front desk asked acted like I should have told her about it when I got there that roof been rented out a 100,000 times and nobody ever fixed it. Door lock is broken, TV glitched all the time. As far as your staff went they were great professional always very courteous and kind. You charge somebody $200 a day for a place that you all call five Star you know me and my kids go all over Florida stay in I would never return to your place.

I had a great time! There are a lot amenities in the property such as food trucks, restaurants, bars etc. The beach was absolutely gorgeous. My kids enjoyed a lot the jumping at the beach. There are always available chairs and umbrellas on the sand. The rooms need an upgrade but in general I really enjoyed staying there. A lot activities at the pool and beach. Kids will love it!

The resort fee of $55 a day truly shouldn’t have been a thing. The manager was an awful human being who spoke to my husband and I like we were children when we checked in. The “resort” gives more motel than resort and is insanely overpriced for its so called accommodations and amenities. The entire place shuts down at 10 pm everyday of the week (except Saltys!♥️) Completely feel robbed in so many ways. Boo boo vacation. Never again

We had an amazing stay! The property is perfect for families — there were so many fun activities for the kids, and they were entertained the whole time. The dining options were great, with a lot of variety to choose from. All the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Everything felt safe, quiet, and very convenient. We would definitely come back again!

From the moment we arrived we were treated well and given great instructions- there is so much offered daily! Cookouts and children’s activities- DJ/music at the pool- water slides and floating obstacle course- delicious food & drink options- multiple pools and facilities. Our room was comfortable and spacious- had all we needed. Beds were comfortable for sleep. Only negatives would be the construction nearby and thin walls so we heard our neighbors but that was solved w the TV sound on! Very family friendly- all around it was a great stay!

Beautiful location, great access to the beach, plenty of activities for adults and kids, loads or bars, great drinks, Smores every night, great live local music, you could swim far into the Gulf without getting too deep into the water. We had a blast , would do it again.

I was surprised at the $25 per day parking fee on top of a $55 per day amenity fee. The hotel is looking tired and pools need repair. We have been coming here for 39 years.

Hotel property was very dated. Needs updating elevators not working, Ice machine broken entire stay causing puddles of water to walk through. Hotel staff did nothing about this so it was days of walking through gross water to get to our room. Also I was suppose to have a balcony not sure what this really was.

I’d like to preface this review by acknowledging that the St. Pete area is still recovering from a significant tropical storm in October. With that in mind, there were both highlights and drawbacks to our stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with complimentary champagne and full bellhop service, a great first impression. Unfortunately, when we got to our room, we discovered a major leak and had to return to the lobby to be reassigned. Our new room, like the original, was courtyard-facing and acceptable, though nothing particularly special. The resort’s first floor is currently under renovation due to the storm damage, which meant early morning wake-ups from construction noise and visible work being done throughout the property. This construction often overlapped with resort activities, which made parts of the experience feel more chaotic and less relaxing. That said, the resort offers a wide range of amenities and activities that are well-organized and fun for all ages. One thing to note: the TradeWinds actually operates two adjoining properties, and many of the activities are spread across both. Be prepared to do a bit of walking between the two resorts. Highlights of our trip included the two-story waterslide, beachfront cabanas, ocean obstacle course, and a variety of paid beachside experiences like parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet ski rentals. These features made for several unforgettable beach days.

I loved this resort. Definitely plan on returning with my family again. The only negative thing was the coffee at the shop. The espresso was very watery and disappointing. Otherwise the report is amazing and we love all the activities and fun. The pool 12-4 games were very entertaining. We were sad the pool was closed our last day and had no activities.
