This is the kind of beach rental where you leave the car in park. Rent bikes from Ocean Motion (10 minutes by foot), walk to Crab Daddy’s (12 minutes) for red snapper and a world-class baked potato—we have the recipe, but we’ve been sworn to secrecy—and spend the afternoon tracking down the mystical tree spirits of St. Simons. At night, take your coffee or cocktail down to Gould’s Inlet and look up. The stars out there don’t care what day it is—and neither will you by the time you head home.
