I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. “We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove.”

“Our stay at the Wallace Lodge was seemless from booking to checking out. Wallace communicated with us immediately after booking and advised us of all pertinent information needed for the stay. We took a drive from London to the Wallace Lodge and he waited till our arrival at 2130 to personally greet us and show us around. Everything is as described within the listing.
