“Very good hospitality. A kitchen everyone could use, which was separate to the rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the getaway and the toddler enjoyed herself as well. Roger, who is one of the staff, was very helpful and also great with assisting in anything we needed with a speedy service. The guesthouse is also in walking distance to the beach and to the shops. “Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area.
