Friendly greeting and quick checkin. Massive room and massive en-suite bathroom with no shower holder or curtain. Parking is limited and would struggle should they be packed. So dogs are allowed but cannot stay in the room unattended. I have stayed in many dog friendly hotels and that rule I’ve never heard before and was not advertised. The bed is massive, 2 single mattresses and average comfort. But the main issue is the pipework tapping loudly and irritating from 5.30am until 8am. I struggled to sleep properly and travelling for work that was not good. Even with the radiators in the room turned off the tapping was present. I can only give an average stay rating. Location is poor unless you like fields. Decent for the money we paid but I imagine the price would increase after the pandemic.
