“This was fun get-away for our group. It is remote so don't plan on any "quick trips" to town - but you have everything you need at the cottage anyway. We spent our days between the lake and the pool - lake was the preference with the trampoline docks. Overall a great experience, though it quickly ended with an evacuation due to the fires.”

“Creekside Cottage in Vernon is amazing!! Such a lovely, homely and quiet place only a 5 minute drive to downtown Vernon! The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable, cozy stay. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful and are always available if one has a question or a “need”! Inside the cottage is super clean, well stocked with many extras i.e coffee, little snacks, beautiful linens and towels, lots of dishes and a small washer and dryer just to mention a few items! “We came for our anniversary with our adult kids and their partners. The house was perfect for that with bedrooms on separate floors. The patios outside were fantastic. The view from the dining patio was the best, but we spent most of our time on the front deck, looking at the lake, reading and enjoying the fire table at night. The beds were comfortable as was all the patio furniture. The waterfront at La Casa is underwhelming, but there’s nothing that these property owners can do about that! It……

“Property was as expected. Be sure to read other reviews. Worked out great as we were only 2 couples so we stayed in 3rd floor master and they stayed on lowest level as wood floors are quite squeaky, which we knew going in. Great location for our getaway with friends!”

“The house was beautiful and in such an awesome location. The lake is just a 5 minute walk from the house and there was enough space for 8 adults to sleep comfortably. Lakhbir was so easy to get a hold of and was super prompt to respond to any questions or needs that our group had! The only critique is that blinds for the windows would have been amazing as the house gets a lot of morning sun and it's incredibly warm and bright in the mornings.
