"great place! you will need an international phone to get into main building, then know the code to get into the b and b. tricky but instructions are good. parking pass available from host, but you’ll never find a place - reserved ahead of time through parkmeter at the sas garage about 8 min walk. from there it’s a 20 min walk to the old town. our host josefina was incredible - very helpful and gave us a great breakfast in morning. even a to go one when we left early. rooms are comfortable, and AC worked great in the summer. be aware this is a B and B - you have a themed room (music, art etc) which are locked and open to a common area. individual locked private bathrooms but you go through the common area to get to them. would definitely go again - thank you Josefina!!"

"Comfortable stay"

"Great location of the hotel, 5 min walk to piazza de ferrari and lots of shopping. We parked our car in a parking lot also 5 min away walking. The hotel is on the fifth floor with a check in on the 2nd floor. We used gps, and had no issues finding it, though the sign on the building has a different name for the hotel but once you come to the door you can see that you're in a right place. The room was spacious and clean and well air conditioned. Would stay again. "

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is in the Centro Storica, just steps from the Teatro Felice. However, it is located on a little side street off of via Roma, so it is very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is clean and modern, and the staff was pleasant, professional and very helpful concerning questions about the city."

"This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had in all my travels throughout Europe. We paid extra for an ocean view room, only to be greeted by scaffolding blocking the entire view — as if staring into a construction site wasn’t bad enough, the constant presence of cranes made it feel more like we were staying at a shipping port than a coastal retreat. If you’re not here for business (and even then, good luck), do yourself a favor and keep going. This place offers nothing in terms of leisure, charm, or relaxation. The beaches are depressing — dirty, industrial, and lifeless. It’s astonishing this is marketed as a coastal destination at all. The “breakfast” was laughable — clearly done as cheaply as possible with zero care for quality or presentation. To make matters worse, the hotel allows pets, which might sound charming in theory, but in reality meant dealing with barking and whining that only made the stay more unbearable. I tried to find at least one redeeming quality, and I couldn’t. Nothing about this place lives up to expectations. No beauty, no peace, no hospitality — just noise, cranes, and disappointment. This hotel is a complete bait-and-switch. Save your time, your money, and your sanity. Go literally anywhere else. "

"Very helpful when we arrived (too early for check-in)--they let us store our bags there while we went out and about and gave us a map that they marked up to show where we were and where we said we wanted to go. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast had plenty of variety. Will stay there next time I'm in Genova. "

"My room with a lovely balcony overlooking Ave XX Settembre exceeded my expectations. Because of the double paned glass in the very tall doors, there was no street noise. My room was was spacious and most delightful. The hotel staff was the best!"

"This place is such a treasure in a time capsule. We appreciate the care for detailed quality napresso coffee, water, high pressured water, air conditioning, and a perfect access to fun eateries, bars and some shopping. Highly recommended "

"The flat was excellent. Lots of space with pretty well everything we needed. We were doing some cooking in the flat and noticed that it could have done with more utensils . 2 pans isn’t really enough especially for those preparing larger meals but that is a small point otherwise excellent point "
