“This location was very fun. The cabin was adorable comfortable. I didn't get to check in until after dark and had a little problem finding the place but the staff were super helpful.”

“Property is awesome and relaxing. Owner is great. ”

“Place was clean and a nice quiet area. The pool was really nice and the rec room was a cool place to hang out. Would stay there again.”

“A lot of spaces outside were not furnished enough to really fit people comfortably. Kind of a bummer because it’s such a beautiful location but only has a couple chairs and nothing on the balcony at all. Also there is just a hilarious amount of lights in this house, standing in the living room you can easily see over 100 individual lights which isn’t a problem but just so funny”

“Just beautiful!! That isnt even enough, the view alone it just perfect! We sadly don’t catch big fish but a few small ones were caught and returned. Unfortunately the cows weren’t out but that was ok too. Is was a nice getaway and much needed. The manager was very prompt with his response to our questions. That made things a lot easier. We will be back when we have more spare time away from work. Thank you ! ”

“Had a wonderful time at the farm! The owners were outstanding the room was amazing, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed , we stayed 3 nights . I will stay again !”

“The property is very nice. Love the chickens. Easy access to the house. It is in the back of the property where it is secluded and quiet. The bed is comfortable. The room could use a little TLC but was great for what we needed. Price was OK. ”

“Great location and very close to downtown Van Alstyne and the property was close to our family that we were visiting. The property was clean, quiet and very spacious and provided what we needed during our stay. Bathroom has a nice size walk-in shower and the bed in the full bedroom was very comfortable. We had a couple minor issues during our stay which were resolved quickly by our host. We would recommend this property to others and we would consider staying again at the property in the future.”

“Needs better cleaning Linens were cheap Scarce furniture Yard left littered with past parties, old carpet in yard and broken children’s toys Microwave will fall on your head if opened No utensils in kitchen, bring all you own Cur hand on glass railing chip at split connection Mowed the lawn while we were present with visitors”

“Such a cute, cozy little cottage! The guest house was very clean, charming, and decorated so nicely. I really appreciated all the little thoughtful extras, like having ice already in the freezer, bottles of water in the fridge, and even the little cups of coffee creamer. Those are such small things, but they really make a stay feel more comfortable. I also loved having the list of local places to eat and things to do. I always appreciate recommendations, especially when I’m staying somewhere……

“Host was top notch”

“Stopped briefly during travel, beds offered good support, TV worked smoothly, and bathroom was neat providing rest needed for the night. WiFi speed was sufficient for streaming shows after dinner around Sherman area.”

“Easy instructions ”

“Very nice place to stay and instructions to access were easy to follow. Bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and clean. Quiet complex and nice location near restaurants and shopping.”

“This is a very nice cabin for a couple to get away! There are lots of activities nearby, and this is a great place to return to!! We enjoyed celebrating our 30th anniversary here!!”
