“Honestly perfect! You get exactly what is advertised and then some--everything has been thought of inside this cozy loft (the coffee was clutch, I'd forgotten to bring any!!)I loved waking up to Teach the rooster and taking out my compost to feed Chadde. The walk to Little Pond was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to take the canoe for a morning paddle. Even though it was cold enough to snow, the heater in loft kept it warm--I didn't even need it at night. Will definitely be back!”

“It was the perfect little house for our stay in Maine. We loved the location - much quieter than places closer to the island, and there was a lot to do right nearby on the schoodic peninsula. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable when we weren’t out exploring! ”

The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. The place itself is exactly as described and if anything even nicer. I wish I could live there! The lake was gorgeous, the beds comfortable and the stars were amazing. Can't wait to go back! ”

“It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.”

“We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was needed after the full days of hiking and bike riding through Acadia. The kitchen was very well appointed, although we never cooked dinner as we enjoyed the Bar Harbor restaurants - More local to the house, be sure to check out the Sea Ketch restaurant… it was delicious. We were only home for one sunset, but it was lovely. Also we highly recommend sailing out on the schooner Margaret Todd, a Cessna flight……

“This house is all about the location! It sets on a beautiful property and is a mile from access to Acadia Park loop road, not to mention close to town. More than enough space for 5 adults to lounge around. The weather was starting to turn to fall so using the fire pit and having the fireplace was so nice. Had a question, and the property manager was so quick to answer. Highly recommend.”

“For the last 20 or so years we have rented houses in downeast Maine-three couples who have been friends for far longer. This house was one of the most well thought out, with comfortable furnishings in good condition, beautiful harbor views, and a well equipped kitchen which is as big as it looks in the photos. It was very clean, and showed no signs of end of season tiredness. There are plenty of dishes, cutlery, and glassware, cooking and baking supplies.The bedrooms have comfortable mattresses……

“Very clean and fully stocked. It was close to parks and great food. We loved the location. Laundry on site was so handy! Our space was warm so we ended up buying a fan to sleep more comfortably. The AC was pulled prior to our visit. Keep this in consideration if you book early fall. ”

“This was the PERFECT spot for my family and I to stay while exchanging vows in Acadia. The host was very easy to communicate with. The house was everything we needed but the best part was the privacy. It’s completely hidden off of the road and no neighbors on top of you. Deer came to visit us every day which elevated the experience. We had my 15 month old son with us and the house was very accommodating for him too. Love that we didn’t have to bring a pack and play or high chair as it was……
