默特尔海滩海滩假期

We stayed at this hotel for an extended weekend and paid extra to upgrade to a suite with an ocean view. Unfortunately, our experience fell well below our expectations, especially given the cost of our stay. Guests in the room below us were smoking marijuana, and the odor drifted up to our balcony, making it impossible to comfortably sit outside and enjoy the ocean view we had specifically paid extra for. We contacted the front desk several times to report the issue, but no effective action was taken to resolve the situation. While we understand that hotels cannot control every guest’s behavior, we do expect staff to respond professionally and make a reasonable effort to address legitimate concerns. The purpose of upgrading to a suite was to enhance our stay and enjoy the oceanfront setting. Instead, we were unable to comfortably use our balcony, and the additional cost of the upgrade felt wasted\. The lack of response from hotel staff was particularly disappointing because we gave them multiple opportunities to address the problem. The ocean view was beautiful, but that alone does not compensate for the poor customer service we experienced. Our primary disappointment was not simply the behavior of other guests, but the hotel’s failure to meaningfully respond after repeated complaints. Given the amount we paid, we expected a higher standard of service and accountability This situation significantly detracted from what should have been an enjoyable weekend.

This hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly from check in to check out. They had everything you need from shampoo to coffee cups, utensils and plates! We had an 'oceanview' room instead of 'oceanfront' and the views from our balcony were just as good as 'oceanfront '. We definitely recommend and will definitely be staying here again!
