东海角海滩假期

Beautiful Property, Tough August Stay — Saved by Incredible Staff We stayed at La Valise Los Cabos in August — beautiful property, but not the right season or setup for it. Temperatures hit 37°C, and AC was only available at night (apparently due to solar panel capacity limits), leaving daytime genuinely hard to bear. The property also sits in rugged, undeveloped desert with nothing walkable nearby, so you're confined to a small space while dealing with intense heat. Food and drinks were delicious when available, but the menu was often depleted — again seemingly tied to the same infrastructure limits, not lack of effort. What truly saved our stay was the staff , especially Adan and Alvaro. They were kind, knowledgeable, and endlessly helpful, anticipating problems before we even noticed them and handling constant supply and cooling challenges with real grace. Honestly, we don't think the stay would have been enjoyable without them. They are the heart of this property, and management should recognize what exceptional people they have. Bottom line: gorgeous property fighting its own infrastructure in August — but Adan and Alvaro turned a potentially disappointing trip into one we'll remember fondly.

The room was very clean and kept up daily. Room is older and could use some attention. A few cracked tiles on flooring and updated furniture. Bed was very comfortable (king). No refrigerator but we requested and they brought us one (no charge), which was great. Also, room should have a safe and maybe a microwave to bring room up to date. I cannot say enough about the fabulous staff. From your room to breakfast to the pool and main office: you could not ask for any better people to be there for you. The restaurant had amazing cooks and the meals never let you leave hungry. Taco Tuesday, bbq Thursday and buffet on the beach Saturday night was amazing. Friday was pasta buffet and every meal had homemade breads!!! Pool Water was a little warm as fed by hot springs so we did not use hot tub. The beach could not have been better and fly fishing were caught from shore every single day! (Rooster, needle nose, yellow fin tuna, lady fish and more). No need for a guide or boat but available if you wanted. People snorkeled right on the beach in front of resort and beach was well maintained for lounging. Again-property has beautiful manicured foliage but tiles cleaned and repaired would make this an all star destination!! If you go make sure you meet up with (Lola) Lolita who has been coming here for over 50 years! I will return and just do day trips if I want to La Paz, Los Barriles or Cabo. Loved our trip!
