We honestly loved everything about the resort! Our rooms were adjoining, as requested. They were clean and the staff was wonderful. We loved the restaurants and the buffet. The adult pool and pool bar were also outstanding.

We have stayed at other RIU properties in the past. This one was a disappointment. No room service, no pool drink service, no TV for 3 days, and no phone service the entire time. First night, there was a fight outside our room. We couldn’t call security due to having no phone service. Had to get our friends next door to call.
As for entertainment, there is no diversity. Reviews talked about diversity of music, including 70’s and 80’s music. The only 70’s and 80’s music we heard was during transport from airport to resort and when we went on catamaran excursion … We got to pick the music. What was telling was as we were returning to the resort, ‘Sweet Caroline” was blasting and everyone on the beach was joining in. I would tell the staff and entertainment team, “READ THE ROOM!”
After hearing the same music for several days, I approached the DJ about playing some 70’s and 80’s music like mentioned in some of other reviews. His response, “Not today!”
Generally speaking, the staff was nice. We ate every morning and night at the buffet. Not disappointing! And those waitresses and waiters work extremely hard!
Likely will not stay at another RIU property unless one we’ve stay at before this time.RIU is a recognized brand name. Don’t lose it!

The staff did not check in on me during my stay after a medical emergency i had on the property. The nurse charged me $55 USD for a nurse assessment but only took my vitals once and that was it. No 2nd set of vitals, no water, nor a limited exam. I was blessed to have ONE housekeeper physically come in and check on me as i was not able to walk. I was laughed at by staff and was not treated well. Will never recommend.

Well kept property with great views of the area. Lots of lounge chairs at the pool and beach so we are always able to secure a spot. Would have liked hot tub available for evenings or just in the spa. Pools closed early at 6pm which seemed kinda early. Steakhouse restaurant was especially good.

I had such a relaxing time at Grand Palladium. This resort is the definition of luxury. It was big, beach was soft, room cleaned daily, staff very friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to visit again. The pool was a little dirty but that’s nothing that can’t be fixed.
