Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beach is definitely the highlight - beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. However, areas around the trees need some maintenance, as there were rocks and small branches that should be cleared.
The property is a bit dated but very well kept. Service was inconsistent—some staff were friendly and engaging, while others seemed less attentive.
Adding benches around the property would be a great improvement, both for enjoying the beautiful sunsets and especially for guests with mobility issues.
The buffet was very good, but the specialty restaurants were disappointing and need improvement in both service and food quality.
Overall, a great location with strong potential, but some areas could use attention to enhance the experience.

Riu has the most delightful and helpful staff . Love the hotel . Will stay over and over again ! However , my husband left his credit cards and bank cards and id’s in the dresser in the room . Who do I contact to have it shipped out to us ?

There was something for everyone in our family of 5. The food and drinks were decent, the pool was beautiful with plenty of chairs available, and the beach was spacious and gorgeous. The waterpark was a hit, too. The lifeguards were very attentive and made sure everyone was safe.
