Cocoa Beach Beach Vacations

We have been coming to this location for 20 years and it always felt festive and fun. Something has shifted the past couple of years. They have been neglecting details. They don’t clean as well as could be. Things are getting rusted and moldy. The trees at the pool are dead. They had really cheap “fixes” that make it not resort quality. Terrible eye sore of a shade covering at the pool with inside/outside bright green carpet in the center of the fountain. The staff are no longer friendly, like the security team. Like completely ignore and scowled at our hello. Didn’t feel like a fun atmosphere and even the crowd seems much rougher. You’d think with the COVID boom of people flocking to Florida and the high rate they charged that they would have saved that money and used it to continue upkeep. Instead they got Joe smoe to run to Home Depot to get whatever to “fix” the problem. Like the bathroom has a fairly new shower but they didn’t renovate and fix the rest of things that were rusting or falling apart. The water was barely warm enough for a shower. Sad to see this gem of a place going downhill. Soon it will be beyond repair to keep up and will be a one star place if they don’t put in the work. I’m guessing they have new management that doesn’t prioritize the things they used to like customer experience and keeping the place up kept. Just in it for the money like the rest of them. They kept closing the pool for hours because of “lightning”. Lost a customer of 20 years.

Our stay wqs good, breakfast is good, room is good enough for 6 peope (3 couples). Big problem is the internet, we didn’t even got it, tried many times, no internet. Hopefully you resolve the entire problem, most of the customers need internet. Good we have only overnight stay, at least free shuttle to the cruise port.
