In the week we were there, we cannot remember any of the cafe staff (where breakfast is served) smiling or engaging happily with the guests (except for the manager ticking off the room in the morning). We also went to the reception desk and the staff there just ignored us even though we'd been waiting, again, grumpy looks, no smiles. Poor attitude. Finally, the food...all well cooked but (and this was true for EVERY meal), the dishes turned up at random times and at least one 'hot' dish would be cold! As a supposedly 5 star hotel, the quality of the staff, facilities and the overall experience is nowhere near to achieve a 5 star review rating.
