Channel Islands Honeymoon Packages

Fabulous views, lovely clean changing room and pool area. Friendly and helpful staff. Great choice at breakfast

Royal Yacht Hotel Review We stayed at the Royal Yacht from 14th to 19th October. The hotel itself was very nice, and the rooms were lovely. We also had a fantastic meal in The Grill, where we enjoyed the best ribs we have ever had. Unfortunately, Friday night was a different experience. There was a party on Level 1, and the noise was so loud that, whilst standing in the bathroom, the vibrations through the floor actually made my feet tingle. At around 00:30, I got dressed and went down to reception to complain. I spoke to the duty manager, who offered to move us to another room. However, he informed me that the music would finish at 01:00, so we declined the offer as it seemed pointless to move rooms for such a short period. My main issue is that we paid a significant amount of money for our stay, yet no compensation was offered for the disruption and the fact that our Friday evening was effectively ruined. To be fair, the following day they moved us one floor higher because the Sirocco Bar becomes a nightclub on Saturday nights, with music continuing until 02:00. However, this was definitely not made clear when we were researching and booking the hotel online. We were not even offered a complimentary drink as a gesture of goodwill, which was disappointing. Had we known about the level of noise from the parties and nightclub, we may have chosen a different hotel. The staff were very helpful and professional throughout our stay, and the 12:00 checkout time was a welcome bonus.

The hotel was really nice all staff were very friendly and helpful . Very good breakfast, both quality and choice. Few minutes form Town centre , lovely sea view . Would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The hotel is attractively set in large grounds. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and had a small balcony. Every single member of staff we met was welcoming. They went out of their way to engage with us and help -this included the reception, bar & dining and housekeeping staff. The breakfast area was calm and well managed with a good range of options. We chose to take our evening meals in the Terrace Bar. There was a large range of options to choose from and the staff were very helpful - especially Amy who served us very professionally most nights.
