North London Mountain Vacations and Getaways

After staying at a number of similarly priced hotels in London, this one stands out. The location and hotel were great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A fantastic hotel near enough to the action in London but far enough away to be nice and quiet. A great location for all the key sites. Hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was great and spacious and as many others have said, the breakfast was brilliant. A fantastic choice each morning. The only thing that was frustrating was the lack of lifts - only 2 working for the duration of our stay and getting down to breakfast took some time when it was busy. You can walk down the stairs - we found this out on the last day. You have to walk down to the ground floor then come back inside the hotel and up one flight of stairs to breakfast. If you go straight to floor one, there is a fire exit and you can’t get through. If you are on a low floor, do the stairs instead of waiting for the lifts if the lifts aren’t all in action.

The room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3:30 though the booking said ready by 3. It didn't take too long but was a bit annoying. The room itself was lovely though it was a bit strange to not have a bin and I would have liked more coffee etc. We got a wake up call at 5am which we didn't ask for. When we checked out I brought this up and we were told it was a mistake and the person apologised but I would have preferred if they apologised without me prompting and maybe offered us some kind of compensation. I have issues sleeping so it was really quite disruptive. I did wonder if it was because we were clearly not well off and the place is quite posh. I don't have an issue with someone making a mistake but seems weird not to apologise.

The apartment was great - getting in the property was tricky at first as code didn't work and property manager didn't respond but beyond that was good. the hallway and elevator was very dirty on arrival. the apartment was good though. nice size/quality

I liked the hotel, my room was pleasant. Workers are helpful and nice. I would return again. Rooftop bar gave me strange vibes, I did not like it. Breakfast is ok, weekend brunch was not something I would recommend

Hello there, The Hotel is well located in Covent Garden, however, here were several issues: I had booked 2 rooms for 3 of us and when we checked in, the maintenance people knocked on the door as a previous guest had mentioned that the small fridge was not working in the room - keep in mind, the high temps/heat in London at that time last week - the fridge was located in a built in cupboard and the maintenance people told us that to use it, the cupboard doors need to be left open in order to allow the air to circulate behind the fridge....in a small room with 2 people in, not really a good solution and perhaps, the hotel needs to figure out a better place for the fridge to be located in. Also, the AC was not cool - this was also the case in the 2nd bedroom - so at this price, we did get moved to another room and that was resolved. When we there, I also let the front desk also know that the TV's were not working properly and we were told they were working n this -- but that was over 24 hours and again, at this price level, the TV's should work at this level of property and when I mentioned this again, the staff member said -"yes, it's being worked on." Again - at this level of property, these are basic expectations, so hopefully, they should be in working order for future guests, so I wanted to provide the feedback. Thanks.
