Stora Essingen Pet-friendly Vacations

While the hotel is located in the middle of an industrial park that is about a 10 minute ride from the airport, there were some substantial highlights worth mentioning! 1) Very good value for the proximity to the airport - clean and secure ! 2) The food in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic! We ate dinner in the restaurant after getting off a cruise and felt that the quality and portions were better and much more substantial at the hotel- Kudos! 3) The Breakfast - outstanding quality and selection! The crepes were excellent and the choice of proteins was outstanding. 3 Types of Herring , Bacon , sausage. fruits, Yogurts - all very good The room was your standard bed and TV - nothing unusual there. Very Clean The Staff were very friendly and accomodating when we arrived early. Other hotels in Stockholm should take notice in how the staff made their guests feel and how they fed them! I would stay there again when in Stockholm! My only recommendation would be to have a larger variety of "convenience items" as the selection was all in vending machines and very limited

The basic rooms are super small. The lighting in the room was horrible. The bathroom was rather nice, with heated floors. The breakfast was wonderful, great selection, fresh food, and very nice servers.

A truly wonderful place to stay. My family thought it was “awesome”. Very quaint.

Location was very central with access to everything! Staff were supper helpful as well with storing bags as we had a later flight. Breakfast was fresh and delicious; great way to start the day. When we come back to Stockholm it would be silly to not come back to this hotel.

This was my second stay at Skepparholmen and I can’t recommend it enough. The food, the scenery and lovely service by Wåge and Andrey made for a wonderful stay. We hope to visit soon again!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious! So many wonderful restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Highly recommend!

Very basic accommodation but also very clean, and a bus stop near by.

This is a great hotel. Not on the main tourist high streets but 5 mins walk to metro and 20 mins from the harbour. Staff super nice and helpful. Didn’t use the gym but it looked good. Breakfast was great. Lots to choose from. Buffet style. The room maintenance was great. Would use again if we return.
