Brought the family on a little east coast getaway and couldn't ask for a better location to return to and unwind in the evenings. Spectacular views on a peaceful cove with every accommodation you could ever need. Exceptional, absolutely loved it!

Our stay at the Muir Hotel was exceptional (our second time staying at The Muir). From the moment we arrived, the level of service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, incredibly professional and genuinely eager to help. Their attention to detail and commitment to making our stay special truly set this hotel apart.
The rooms are absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed and luxurious without feeling overdone. Every detail has been carefully considered, creating a relaxing and upscale atmosphere.
The location is also unbeatable. Being right on the Halifax waterfront made it easy to explore the city, with amazing restaurants, shops and attractions all within walking distance.
The Muir delivers a true luxury experience in every sense. The exceptional hospitality, pristine accommodations, and incredible attention to detail made this one of the best hotel stays we've ever had. It's an easy 10/10, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Halifax. We can't wait to come back!

Friendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious at the attached restaurant with some ingredients locally sourced. Bathroom was a bit dated and shower would go from cold to warm to cold water (which we would have asked the front desk about but we only stayed 1 night). View is amazing and island is very walkable from lodge. We would definitely stay there again as it was quiet and peaceful.
