Worderful apartment, responseful organised

Probably one of the best experiences from start to finish… so accommodating… made our experience great. Was sad to leave…

We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon.

Very clean room and comfortable bed. Nice hot water with nice pressure. Staff was awesome. They were a great help. Breakfast was made to order as well as buffet.

A beautiful boutique hotel with a distinctive historical character. The former U.S. Embassy setting gives the property a fascinating sense of history, including its connection with JFK. The hotel itself is elegant, intimate, and exceptionally well appointed. Its location in Riga’s refined embassy quarter is excellent, surrounded by handsome architecture and quiet, leafy streets. A major highlight is the superb Michelin-recognized JOHN restaurant on the premises, making the entire experience particularly special. A sophisticated and memorable place to stay in Riga.

The villa and surrounding property are beautiful! Gorgeous lake and forest, modern and clean house, everything you need for a night by the lake with family and friends: large living room and patio, kitchen supplies, place for a bonfire, firewood, sauna available for rent, indoor fireplace - you name it. I’m taking two stars off because the host did not honor my full reservation. I booked Thu-Sun six months before. When I called a week before to ask a question, was told that they can’t host me on Thursday because there is an event at the property. He said he was trying to communicate this for months. Well no message was sent to me so had I not called I probably would have arrived on Thursday just to find a party at the property I booked! We had to make last minute changes to our other accommodation to have where to stay until Friday. On top of that I had to call and request for a refund for Thursday night because the host said he can’t figure out how to do that with Expedia. No discount was offered for the rest of the stay. Caused us tons of inconvenience and disappointment.

A delightful stay, everyone was helpful, the hotel is clean, the rooms spacious and the location is so central.
