Exceptional per usual! We love staying at the Whaler, the condo option is great for families that aren’t trying to eat out each meal and it’s in a great location by Black Rock for snorkeling, plenty of restaraunt options and next door to Whalers Village for plenty of shopping options.

The best family rental ever. For the price compared to all the other resorts you get the most bang for your buck: location, FULL KITCHEN, laundry, guest services, beach access, shopping, and the most beautiful ocean with snorkeling magic galore. We saw sharks turtles and fish by Black Rock. It was amazing. Our daughter loved her first trip to Hawaii. We will definitely be back to west Maui and highly recommend the Whaler.

Unbelievable place to visit for your Honeymoon. The staff was amazing and made our honeymoon very special: amazing view, awesome pools, great food, and excellent amenities.

We arrived and was very impress with the hotel to include staff at the Buffet breakfast place, concierge, Valet, and housekeeping. GOOD JOB !!! Everyone was at par and professional. This was the best vacation ever. My wife and i actually went to Maui to get married. The room was amazing. Staff was great.... (shout-out to KK) for recommendations on places to go and eat. We will definitely be back next year for our 1 year anniversary!

I absolutely loved the Whaler and highly recommend it! The room was much bigger than expected and clean for the price! For 1 bedroom they had 2 baths which was ideal! The staff was absolutely courteous, helpful and responded so quickly. Anything you asked for they had it! Such awesome customer service! The location was beautiful. Right off the ocean, next to Whalers Village. Grounds were kept impeccably clean with a beautiful Koi pond. I have never been so impressed with a hotel...

We love the Sheraton! We stay there every year for our anniversary! Sheraton is walkable to Whalers Village and also has a couple of great dining options. The staff are very welcoming and the oceanfront deluxe room is to die for! Be back next year!

We thought the room was amazing. Beautiful devor and comfy bed. It had a fully stocked kitchen, so if you choose to eat in you had all the tools to do so. When we walked out the lanai door, we were close to the pool, and within 100' of the beach. The pool was beautiful, well maintained and refreshing. There were two pools and hot tubs. This was our first time in Maui and we loved the island and the hotel where we stayed (Aston Kaanapali Shores). The room was clean, the pools were warm, the ground were beautiful, the staff was polite and friendly (housekeeping ladies were very attentive and efficient), and the price we paid was quite reasonable. We stayed at the Honua Kai Resort from October 27 thru November 2, 2016 and I have nothing but praise for the facilities, amenities and staff. Excellent location. Dukes restaurant on the property. We stayed in the island view room which had a kitchenette, sitting room, king size bed, jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, and balcony. We were overlooking the pool area with a view of the ocean. Very happy with the room and the view. This hotel is great for families, we don't have kids but we enjoyed it just the same.

Our family of four (boys 10 & 13) stayed here for spring break and had a great time. The food at the restaurants was delicious--not a bad meal anywhere. The only long line we encountered was at Starbucks in the morning but they were very efficient and it was spring break after all. We played in two of the three pool locations--all lovely.
