The heart of the museum, the Hall of the Pergamon Altar located in the central structure of the building, has been closed to the public since autumn 2014. The south wing, featuring the Market Gate of Miletus, the Ishtar Gate and the Processional Way of Babylon, will remain open to the public during that first phase of the renovation.
