per adult Price is $24

Step inside a world of murder, revenge, and true grit in a dramatic history of Victorian Gastown. Stories of deadly fire and smallpox emerge from the shadows as you venture through cobblestone streets to the shocking finale in this unique performance-theatre experience.

Venture into Vancouver's earliest and most gruesome history as you journey back in time to a violent frontier town of hustlers, thieves, and vagabonds. Amid the swirling lamplight and darkened alleys of Gastown, your guide brings Vancouver's murky past to life.

Your guide will lead you back to a darker time in the city's past and shares tales of the figures who shaped early Vancouver, from the sailor and miner Gassy Jack, who built the city's earliest saloon, to Klondike Kate Rockwell, who broke hearts between Oregon and Alaska as she danced her way up and down the Pacific coast.

Hear about the horrific plague that clutched the city in a feverish death grip and the fire that consumed Gastown in minutes, sending residents sprinting for their lives down Water Street. Listen as your guide recounts the bloody 1898 murder of gold prospector John Bray, who staggered out of a saloon, was shot three times, and deliriously wandered the streets for weeks before he died.

On your walk through Gastown, you get a look at the historic area's must-see landmarks, including the Steam Clock, Gassy Jack's statue, Hotel Europe, Blood Alley, and Maple Tree Square. This is one nighttime excursion that's sure to leave you looking at this modern metropolis in an entirely different light.

This tour was so amazing, could not be happier with the experience and the area it was in. My boyfriend and I had such a great time and Tracy was so so amazing, so funny and sweet. She was an amazing host and I definitely recommend coming for this tour!
