This full day joining group tour will let you explore one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, the Hue Citadel. You will also be able to visit one of the most majestic royal tombs of the great Nguyen Emperors. Experience the calmness and serenity of the Thien Mu Pagoda situated at the Perfume River bank.
ITINERARY IN BRIEF
7:30AM – 8:30 AM: The tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang and then depart to Hue crossing Hai Van Tunnel, which is the longest and the most modern road tunnels in the Southeast Asia. Along the way, you can see see beautiful long white Lang Co beach.
9:30 AM: We arrive and visit one of the most aesthetic royal tombs, Khai Dinh Tomb. This jaw dropping blend of Western and Eastern architecture was constructed between 1920-1931 for the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty – Emperor Khai Dinh.
12:30PM: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant serving the best Hue dishes and take short rest here.
In the afternoon, we head to Thien Mu Pagoda. The famous temple was built in 1601 – and the complex comprises much more than the towering riverside pagoda. Our guide leads us on a tour of the manicured grounds, passing gardens and ponds to the back of the complex where few other visitors were.
Next, we get on bus and come to Hue Citadel, which was recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage in 1993. Experienced many vicissitudes of history, Hue Citadel is still long-lasting and remain the cherished values. Learn about the 13 Nguyen dynasty kings ruled for over 140 years. Our guide led us through the vast complex, highlighting the sights with facts and tales. We visit the Royal Palace, the Royal Theater, lush gardens and so on.
17:30 You arrive back your hotel in Da Nang, or 18:30 - 19:00 at hotel in Hoi An Town. End of services. Our tour guide say Good bye and See you again!
