“This is one of the best Hotels I stayed at in Europe. Quality of service was superb. Hotel was super clean a true 5 star experience. It’s 15 minutes away from the touristy area ( old town) but they have a water taxi that takes you there. It was like a free cruise experience in porto. “Holiday Inn was situated on hillside, at a decent residential area but far away from the city centre. My room was at 21st floor and I could had a bird's eyeview on the beautiful scenery of Porto. Yet, traffic was not convenient. We had to go down the slope a little bit for taxi. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. “We booked a superior room with a nice view of the river. It was comfortable, not so big but big enough for our 1 night stay. The room was available early which was really nice because we arrived around noon. It is a fair walk to the restaurants down hill which means you have to go up hill when returning. We decided not use the breakfast facilities so I can't comment on those. Lovely area to sit outside and catch some sun. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.”
