Great Hiking Out the Door, Amazing Views from the Deck
If you are up for longer, challenging hikes in the park and the national forest, this is an excellent location to hike right out your door and avoid the traffic and parking. Over three days we hiked Twin Sisters, Estes Cone, and Rams Head/Lily Mountain. The house is newly renovated with everything we needed and has fantastic views from the decks off the main and bedroom levels. We hope to visit again soon.

This was a great property ! Very very comfy master bed. An awesome location! View was great outside the property. The drive way was interesting each time…. All in all we enjoyed our stay. BUT….. the deck was closed !!! All of them !!! You can’t go outside on the the deck! Soooo no view from the house. They need to get this fixed ASAP . Not a fair advertisement without the decks closed….This was a little upsetting to be modest during our stay. I would not have. Booked this place if I knew the decks would be closed ….. A fantastic place otherwise ….

This is a vacation condo on a beautiful mountainside with gorgeous views. The management was extremely responsive to issues. There was an issue after we made our reservation on their side and they handled it quickly and professionally. The property itself appeared a little beat up from being a vacation condo that probably wasn't built with the durability to be a VRBO property. One railing was partially pulled out of the wall(with evidence of multiple prior repairs), one of the box fans had broken blades and was too loud to use and the mattresses were clean but well used. Last, the dryer didn't work and was missing a leg so when we tried to run it, it sounded like it was eating itself and once we balanced it and ran it, the clothes were still room temp and wet. Given the views and amenities it was worth the stay. Mgmt took all of our comments in stride and I expect they will quickly fix everything we brought to their attention. Overall it was a good stay.

Home is in a beautiful area but it was frustrating that the WiFi barely worked and the downstairs master bedroom smelled musty. Kitchen water faucet falls off daily. The views were from every window were beautiful.

Lovely location/horrible beds!
The condo was very clean; however it was very dated. The carpet appeared clean but was wavy and drab...needing replacement. The beds were severely uncomfortable!!!! My husband and I ended up having to sleep in the two twin beds because the king beds were old and severely sagging. Christmas decorations appeared throughout the house in June. Really? Who wants Christmas in June? Bathrooms were very small with very little counter space. For our next trip I will book well in advance and select a home that is more suitable for us.

I did not realize that through VRBO the checkin process was different than the usual WindCliff. We were not given a code and had to go back into town to get hold of someone. Then I went to the wrong condo and our car got stuck. Since we had no car and no cell phone use I had to flag down someone who was nice enough to let us go to their home and use their land line. In trying to reach the reservation service we were on hold almost half of an hour. Finally realized the mistake of the rental and did get in the one we had rented but still unable to get the car out of the gravel. On Thanksgiving Day a tow truck came and we were free. Not the best start to a long weekend.

Directions are unclear
As others have mentioned, the directions are a bit unclear due to two road names being similar. We also had trouble with the door code but were able to contact property management and solve the problem. Very nice condo. Amazing views.

The the property was first class. Adorable decorations and the kitchen well stocked. The heat worked well and the showers were great. Wildlife everywhere. A couple issues ...we did not know about all the stairs. Lots and lots of stairs! The beds were comfy but the sheets did not fit well and kept springing off in the middle of the night . The one bathroom in the hall was not draining well. Finding the place was an adventure. The map program took us to funky remote areas 15 miles away. When we did figure it out it was dark This is not a place you want to have to fund in the dark. Glad it was so close to the entrance to the park, Thank you so much

Summer time in the Rockies
We loved it and the location to the national park was awesome. Since you had to have a reservation to enter the park our location made it possible to get in on time without one. We spent our days hiking and fishing in the park. We enjoyed being high on the mountain in this home and the view of the peak through the skylight in the kitchen was awesome. The fully stocked kitchen allowed for meals in the evening and lots of family time around the table playing dominoes. We will be back. The beds were comfortable and the views front he balconies spectacular. No issues with the home at all during our stay. There was construction going on in the condo next to us so glad we spent our days gone from the noise. ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful View
If you are looking for a place with a great view, this is it! This had an amazing view across Rocky Mountain NP throug the Bear Lake corridor. Very nice living area on top floor with bedrooms down on the bottom two floors. Drive up to the place had many switchbacks- I would not recommend arriving after dark- it might be difficult to navigate the drive up and find the place. Easy access from the neighborhood to hiking trails. 10 minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. No Verizon cell phone service, T mobile seems to do better. Our kids loved the "bear cave" off of the master suite. We would definitely stay here again!

Received bad directions to house
This home is beautiful, well appointed and the views are amazing. It was everything we hoped for. However, getting to the house was a problem. The address that was emailed to us did not have a street designation, i.e. drive, lane, road, etc. it had just the house number and street which we put into our GPS and it took us to "Lane". The house was not there - after much frustration, we googled the address and found there was also that address with a "drive" . Our GPS had defaulted to the "lane" The "drive" address was 20 minute. s away and up a very mountainous road. We had been traveling all day and were in no mood for this. I contacted the management company, who were polite and said a manager would get back to us to tell us where the house was located. In the meantime, we went up the mountainous road to the address with the "drive" designation and found the house. No manager returned our call, we did get an email that night, after midnight to say that if were still having trouble finding the house to let them know and someone would call us back within the hour. We don't blame the owner of the house for this problem, but mention it as we don't want anyone else to go through this mess trying to find the house, especially if they are arriving after sunset. Other than the directions to the house we would give this a five star rating.

Beautiful location
The location and home was beautiful. The views where something out of a painting, and the home had mostly everything you could need to make you feel at home. The beds and couch where all very comfortable and the water pressure was great. Unfortunately we where sent the wrong lock code to get in, so after driving up the mountain and not being able to get in, we had to drive all the way back down until we got service on our phone and could call the property manager. After a 7hr day of traveling with a 1.5yeard old that was pretty inconvenient and frustrating for us all. The TV in the livingroom worked sporadically, and none of the outlets in any of the bathrooms worked, which made it nearly impossible to blowdry and style my hair. There also was crickets inside the home. Like a lot of them. That was unsettling. Emails to the property manager went unanswered regarding the outlets in the bathrooms and bugs. Overall it was a nice place, I'd recommend it to people but with the warning about bugs and outlets.

Comfy with a beautiful view
This place is decorated beautifully and comfortable. What really makes it special is a view straight into Rocky Mountain National Park. We were there during snowstorms and subzero weather. When we couldn't go out, we could look at magnificent mountains appearing and disappearing in the clouds. What a marvelous place to relax. It also had a well-stocked kitchen. We loved it and want to come back!

Amazing condo with equally amazing views!
They have so many things available that you don’t have to purchase - all the comforts of home. FULLY stocked kitchen! Lots of games, Direct TV on 3 TVs, WiFi access, 3 full baths, 1 half bath, and the bonus room right when you walk in is a fantastic space for hanging out. Fluffy, soft towels in all the bathrooms, as well as hairdryers and nice soap, shampoo, and conditioner trial sizes that are really nice. Bring your own laundry detergent, but they have dryer sheets and fabric softener. The high temps during the day (high 70s and low 80s) do heat up the top and middle floors pretty good. When you get back for the evening, I would suggest opening the windows and even getting out the box fans they have to circulate the cool evening air throughout the condo. We even slept with the windows open. If you are a light sleeper, be aware that anyone walking above you is very loud and creaky. We slept with the bathroom fan on to help drown out middle of the night bathroom trips and early morning risers. The photos don’t really show the layout of the condo, but it is really cool. You walk in the lower level through the glass door into the bonus room. From there, you go up steps to a landing where the “front door” is with the access code to enter the condo. From that landing you can go up one flight of steps to the family room, kitchen, and half bath...along with the amazing balcony. From the landing you can also go down one flight of steps to the middle floor where the bedroom with the 2 twin beds are, a full bath off the hallway, the bedroom with the queen bed and it’s attached full bath. Both of those bedrooms have a door to a shared balcony. Then, from that floor there are two flights of steps that take you to the lower level. That has the huge master bedroom with a comfy king bed and the bathroom has a pretty small shower and that is also where the washer and dryer is. That room has a door to a small landing off the back with steps down to the back of the property. Loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

We ended up having a conflict with our check in date and we were put up in another property for one night which was a bit inconvenient but I was very grateful that they made other arrangements for us. Both condos were wonderful and I will definitely use them again.

Great experience!
This was an amazing property To spend your getaway in mountains. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 6 people to comfortably enjoy. Being on the hillside, this has 4 different levels with each level having a patio. The views of Rockies are stunning right from the patio. No questions about cleanliness and amenities available. The kids will definitely enjoy this house.
