An excellent venue for Cardiff and attractions around like St Fagans and National Trust sites. We were warmly welcomed and the oven meant meals could easily be cooked from M&S nearby though the Italian nearby was also serving excellent food. Excellent breakfast too.

Only an overnight stop here but we stayed in one of the cottage rooms at the rear of the property in the converted stables. Very quaint and comfortable. Only complaint the noisy neighbours through thin walls but overall very good. Excellent service and a good quality breakfast menu. Will definitely come back when visiting this way again.

This was a private trip but I travel on business regularly so I've stayed in many hotels and B&B's in the UK and abroad. This is a lovely sympathetically restored 15th Century cottage in a blissfully isolated location. Sian and John and superb hosts and out trip was not "staying at a B&B" it was essentially being a house guest.
Everything was perfect what more can I say. Everyone does mention the breakfast which is the highlight of the stay fresh locally sourced products make it definitely the best cooked breakfast i have ever had - which is terrible as I now know every other hotel or B&B breakfast I have will never be as good as the two I had here.

Ty Rosa is in a neighborhood of terrace houses, some of which are well-maintained and some of which require further maintenance. Ty Rosa itself is very well-maintained. I stayed in the Annexe across the street from the main facility. The Annexe is also clean and neat and tidy and well-serviced. A bus to central Cardiff stops right in front of the hotel and Annexe. My room shared a bathroom with two other rooms, which can be somewhat difficult at times, especially if the other customers tend to stay in the bathroom for long periods of time. Also, the walls are thin so noise from the outside and the other rooms can be annoying. However, the price is right for Cardiff and my stay was certainly pleasurable and well worth the minor inconveniences.
