Perfect for family during graduation
We needed a place to stay during Adams State graduation, and this was perfect. The house is beautiful, well cared for. I always appreciate when VRBO owners take great care of their properties-it is such a treat to feel like we are in a home away from home. Also, the two livingroom spaces worked out well for various activities. Close to all Alamosa shops/restaurants. Would detinitely stay here again.

This is hands down the best vrbo experience I've had! The owner was amazing and went a thousand miles beyond! The place is easy to find, clean, and the beds were so comfortable. I cant say enough, it was perfect.

The house was comfortable and clean. The host was friendly and everything and communicated promptly. Our stay was fine, but there were a few inconvieniences. The water leaves mineral residue on everything. There was quite a buildup on the clean dishes in the dishwasher. The showers had no soap. No hairdryer in the upstairs bath. No washcloths. The coffee maker did not work properly the first day and then quit working all together. The dryer was broken. The listing included a hot tub that was not there.

Alamosa Getaway
This was such a great place to stay for our quick getaway to Alamosa! Rooms were spacious, clean, and full kitchen was optimal for meals at home. Location is also close to downtown Alamosa shops, cafes, and grocery stores. The Sand Dunes National Park is also a short drive away. I would highly recommend this location!

Great owner and attention to detail
The owner lives close and has tried to make this a great VRBO. We got to meet her and she was very friendly and helpful. The listing was accurate and was close to the downtown area. We would stay there again.

Great place to stay
We are 2 retired couples on a road tour of Colorado. The home was comfortable and adequately equipped for eating in and grilling out. Great location for visiting Great sand dunes national park. Also took side trip to Creede; a historical silver mining town. Communication with owner was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Great location between Monte Vista and Alamosa!
Very clean and a great host! Perfect location for us as we were in Colorado for the Ski-Hi Stampede Rodeo held in Monte Vista. We needed to make many trips to Alamosa, so it worked well for us. Quiet, quaint neighborhood. Bedroom with own bath on the lower floor and two bedrooms with a huge sitting room and bathroom on the upper floor.

We had a rough start to our vacation. We were in a desperate state on needing to find a new place to go. I screwed up the reservation and thought we checked in on the 11th but it was the 12th 😬 we could not get a hold of the owner. The phone number on VRBO was out of date. She had changed her number, and she wasn't answering messages on here! She finally called me on her new number and we got things figured out and luckily she let us stay on the 11th and we got her paid! She kept bugging us about who is sleeping at the house and ages of kids. I explained that my sister's whole family left back for Kansas because of the craziness this whole ordeal had been!! We have a ton of family in the area so we had kids staying at different places every night to abide by her 6 person rule. We have small children so some would stay at the house. I could go on and on in detail but what it basically came down to is we cleaned from prior guest due to my mistake of checking in early ( we had the code sent to us so I had no idea of my mistake yet). We bought laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels did previous occupant's laundry. I never knew our plans from one day to the next who would be staying at the house and could not give her an answer. She just could not let that go even after saying we are spreading people out and it's changing each night. I finally stopped responding to her as we already paid for our stay. It all was just really weird.

On The 10th, Rebecca booked my property for 1 person checking in on the 12th. Rebecca and her family arrived on the 11th, 1 day early, with 12 people, 6 adults and 6 children. Both without my approval. (I was out of town for 2 days). She saw the house wasn't cleaned, but she made a choice to stay anyway. By the time I received the message, they were in the house & unpacked. She did not change the booking to stay on the 11th, but I was able to send her a request for payment for 1 extra night, and she paid. My property advertises for a max of 6 people. I charge $35/night for extra guests, with my prior approval. I asked her for the ages of the children as I don't charge for children 2 and under. She refused to tell me the ages or the exact number of people staying each night. I sent her a payment request for 3 extra people and even cut the price in half, but she never paid. I let her and her family stay anyway. I still haven't been paid. My advise to Rebecca is when booking a property, be honest with the number of people staying. Had I known there were going to be 12 people, I would not have approved the booking. I am a superhost and I love what I do. This is the first time I have been taken advantage of. I handled the situation the best way I could so the children were still able to enjoy their vacation. Karen

We loved this place!!! Karen was so nice and helpful. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is top-notch. Yard is fenced and wonderful for a pet. We recommend this home with zero hesitation!

Great house for a family
Our family had a great stay, 5 minutes from town and about 40 minutes from the sand dunes. Karen provided us everything we needed for a toddler and infant (toys, crib, high chair) and made sure we had an excellent time. The house is clean and has all the amenities and luxuries we wanted. 3 real bedrooms plus 2 living spaces, and 2 nice bathrooms. Modern kitchen. Thanks for a great weekend.

San Luis Valley Country Oasis
Quiet, clean & comfortable, this country home is located just minutes west of Alamosa with great access to San Luis Valley outdoor activities. The bedrooms are freshly appointed and there are two open gathering areas on both floors. The kitchen-dining-family great room is especially welcoming.

Very clean. Spacious. Comfortable. Quiet. Karen (owner) messaged me ahead of time to see what we needed for our three year old and supplied us with a stair gate. The tap water has a bit of a funny smell/taste (sulfur-I an guessing that is anywhere in the area) but there were two unopened gallons of drinking water in the fridge for us on arrival so it was not an issue. Karen messaged us after we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. We would gladly stay here again in the future!

We stayed here for a long weekend in the area and it was perfect. At first I wanted something closer to the sand dunes but I’m so glad we stayed here! The house itself is spacious and nice, and the hosts go out of their way to provide everything you might need. The kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are soo comfy. We stayed here and went to the sand dunes, the hot springs, and the gator park. This was the perfect distance from everything, and I liked that it was close to town. Lots of gas stations, restaurants, and stores on the way to and from! I would recommend this place to all my friends!

Great weekend!
We didn't end up spend a lot of time at this house because we were there for ASU graduation and moving our daughter/granddaughter out of her apartment. However, the time we did spend there was wonderful. Nice place to come back and relax. The owners were very kind and the location is quiet. We all agreed that the beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen had more than we have experienced in other places. Thank you for the place to stay!

Awesome place to stay in Alamosa!
We did not get to spend a lot of time in the house but the time we did spend was wonderful. Everyone had a bedroom and having two bathrooms was a plus. We got to gather around the table and watch a movie upstairs. Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting the Valley.

The hosts were very good at communicating. At least once a day. Heating was an issue, but the hosts are replacing the thermostats. Spectacular view of Blanca Peak from the second floor. Easy access to wildlife refuges and Sand Dunes National Park.
