Average needs renovation
The hotel is 5 stars but needs loads work and renovations. Old carpet and old stuff. When I checked, the receptionist told me I got an upgrade, I was thinking wow great. When I got to my room was the smallest room I ever stayed in my whole life. However the second day they took me to a bigger room but still was not to the standard. The hotel is average and needs loads of work.

Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty great for Amman and amazing for Jordan. Service: REALLY inconsistent. One day waited forever for extra pillows and similarly for more water. But later on in trip I got service VERY quickly. I really don't understand why it was so inconsistent. Our room had plumbing issues - neither drain would open in the shower or sink. I gave up and just wedged them open rather than wait on the spotty service. The breakfast is REALLY good though. Definitely recommend taking it at least one or two days of your trip.

Great bed!
Imposing architecture, confusing layout, no easily consultable maps, staff not especially clear on locations or hours of restaurants or bars, very disappointing cocktail menu, - but very comfortable bed, lots of delicious foods, and decent room.

I love this hotel for its perfect location, pleasant, very helpful staff. The furniture is a bit old and generally need an uplift to get back to Kempinski usual standard.

I really don't understand what happened at this stay!
Upon arrival i was told i have to pay for extra bed for my son
This was delt with after me making a massive issue.
However the bell boy majdi tried helping because he understood my request.
Then we had the lounge booked with our booking.
The lounge was like ghost town with no one at your service at start with no food and waiting for paint to dry service. After speaking to duty manager Maizer nawafleh when we were refused soft drinks in lounge saying we have had our drinks for the day the service picked up a little for a few days then on 5th day went to lounge at lunch to find nothing there. Was told to go restaurant to have lunch only to face a very rude lady refusing to serve us and told us to return to lounge.
The attitude of most staff was just Rude.
There is no outside area available to residents in evening after sunset because the only area by pool is always booked for private function which i believe is totally unfair.
The pool visit during day was very disappointing because people thought its ok to smoke while in pool and cafe manager said its allowed apparently for people to smoke and ash in pool totally disgusting.
Kempinski really needs to look into this because the standards a way below and disappointing.
Overall my vacation was ruined due to this 3 star service.

Confortable hotel in good location, but not 5 star
Comfortable hotel, however this is NOT a five star standard hotel as they state. This was pointed out not only ny another guest in the hotel also on business, but the tax driver as soon as we drove away: "Kempinski Amman - not a five star hotel!" he said.
The staffer pleasant and the breakfast was good, but nothing I saw was five star standard
