Our favourite hotel in Amsterdam
This hotel has the right balance of price and quality which we haven't been lucky enough to find in our previous two trips. The staff were welcoming, and struck great conversation with guests when passing each other in corridors which gave the stay a personal feel. There are also two cats in the hotel which are a pleasant surprise when you first see them!

Location plus service and amazing breakfast
This is the perfect example of location, location, location. Close to attractions, walkable, found an amazing local tavern where the family sampled the local beers with two older teens. Walked to the car rental, walked to a wonderful eatery for a light meal, the breakfast at the hotel was amazing, and the friendly staff was helpful with a smile. Would definitely recommend to anyone, and I would come back for sure.

A wonderful place to stay, the hotel is very close by to anything a tourist would dream of doing! Quiet at night and a safe environment, staff were wonderful, very friendly and outgoing. You could definitely have a laugh and were made to feel comfortable throughout the whole stay. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned everyday and THE BEDS are a must for a comfy night. We would definitely come here again!

Amazing Hotel
Staff was amazing and the building was beautiful! Awesome location but yet still in a quiet area. Would highly recommend and will stay here again the next time I am in Amsterdam!

The best hotel in my entire European vacation
I absolutely loved this place! The beds were super comfortable, the room was modern and light, not to mention very clean. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and stay there again if I ever go to Amsterdam again. There was a fun ukelele meetup in the lobby one night - it didn't disturb you if you were in the room. The breakfast smelled awesome, though we didn't eat it. There are cats in the lobby and stairs area. I'm allergic to cats but I didn't have any issues. Again, lovely place with very nice staff. Definitely check it out!

Great location and such a beautiful and clean hote
Amazing shower which is important to me, the rooms where clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, I have nothing bad to say about this beautiful little hotel and it's also in a great location.

Wonderful staff
Good location, good breakfast and eating section, super nice and helpful gals at the front desk, but I don't think I would book at this place again. The bathroom was too small, no hair dryer, the beds and pillows rather uncomfortable. I would expect a little more upscale for $200 USD/night.

Good location. Close to many restaurants, shopping and the tram. The room only had one outlet, and the hotel supplied tablet (that we didn't use) was plugged in to it!

Great place to stay in Amsterdam
This hotel was comfortable, clean, had friendly and helpful staff, and was in a wonderful location in Amsterdam. Our room was a great size, but it was one of the deluxe doubles, so other rooms may be smaller (but this is Europe... small rooms are apropos). I'd highly recommend the breakfast as it was less expensive than other breakfast eateries in the area, and they will cook you an omelette or pancake, along with the continental food items, juice, and coffee!

Balcony overlooking the canal & staff was amazing!
Had a great stay. Small local hotel - not a big touristy hotel. If you are wanting a real Amsterdam style hotel, this is the place for you. If you want the comforts that are typical to a Hilton or similar, then this is not the hotel for you. Lots of stairs, but that was the only negative thing we encountered. Great central location. Lots of bars and restaurants within a few blocks, as well as public bus/trains. We stayed in a room with a balcony and view of the canal- wonderful experience.

Cute and super location!
Gorgeous little hotel, fantastic location. Some staff super helpful, one not so. Canal view balcony room was huge and gorgeous. Really comfy beds. Tea and coffee facilities would have been nice. Awful, very expensive breakfast I'm afraid. Eat elsewhere. If you're allergic to cats, they are freely roaming around the hotel, so be careful.

Gorgeous little hotel on the canal
Great canal-side boutique hotel with character. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Furnishing was modern and cool and the price very good. My only hesitation is that it was a bit noisy with traffic and pounding rain.

Just ok.
This hotel was further out from the city center but still close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. The canal is right outside the front door. The room was generally ok though the giant light fixture above the bed was caked in dust and our window overlooked the dumpster. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you've got cat allergies, be aware that there are 2 cats on the premises though they're not in the guest rooms. Fine for our one night stay but won't be staying again.

I'd definitely recommend this hotel; Such a relaxed atmosphere, lovely rooms, staff very friendly. We were fortunate to be invited out to a local live band bar by the staff, there's nothing better than a local showing you how the locals do it. I very much hope to book this hotel again next time I'm over in the Dam!

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Staff very friendly and helpful with any queries. Room very modern however we had a view of the wheelie bins and only one plug socket! Quite a dark room, could do with a light over the mirror, tiny wet room/toilet. Would go back again but upgrade to a larger brighter room.

Great location. Hotel was charming. Room was what we needed. The shower was a bit odd. No curtain or door. Three of us sharing a bathroom. The first shower will wet the entire whole washroom.

Lovely hotel in good area
Walking distance to some of the best places to visit in Amsterdam. We got a free upgrade on arrival which was a bonus. Room was very clean and staff were friendly. Stayed for two nights and would definitely visit again.

Stylish, well located, affordable hotel. My room had a great view of the canal. Free wi fi was a little erratic but good enough. Breakfast overpriced for what it is at 10 euros. Only problem was lack of drinking water or receptacle in the room - the cold tap ran warm.

Good location. Close to central Amsterdam
Wonderful boutique hotel. No AC and as we were on the 3rd, top floor, it was 54 steep and narrow steps up, so ask for a lower room if that is a worry The staff is delightful, helpful and wonderful hosts

Great little two star gem at a great location
Finding a reasonably priced and decent hotel in Amsterdam is a pretty difficult task and I wasn't expecting much for a two star hotel at this great location for the (Amsterdam) price I paid. I got pleasantly surprised. Staff was very friendly, breakfast simple but tasty. But most importantly the room was fantastic size, clean, simple but modern and stylish decor. This is in my view way better than a two star place and I would definitively stay here again.

Nice, clean, and trendy
Great hotel, great location, super friendly staff. Everything was clean and up to date. Only a short walk to hop on and off bus/boat station. Only downfall was the room on the 3rd floor w/out elevator and a 23kg suitcase that needed to go up.
