Eclectic hotel on a beautiful canalPosted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Hotel was in great location and staff were incredibly helpful.
Cons: Decor in lobby was perhaps too eclectic and reminded me a bit of a bordello. Otherwise, hotel is quirky but lovely.
Location: Near great restaurants. Short walk to the Anne Frank House, the red light district and several stops for the hop o hop off canal boats.
Hotel Sebastian's is an eclectic gem with friendly, very helpful staff. It is situated on a beautiful canal close to wonderful restaurants. Although rooms are a bit small, they are nicely decorated. I would definitely return.

4 nights in AmsterdamPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Small, friendly hotel right on one of the canals.
Location: Ideally situated for sightseeing and near by restaurants and pubs.
Hotel location ideal for sight seeing and access to restaurants. Hotel staff extremely friendly and attentive. Front desk, bar and restaurant especially. Original room was small, and was switched to a larger room after the first night at no additional charge. Will stay at the Sebastian's again on future visits.
