Great Boutique Hotel!Posted Apr 26, 2015
We loved our time at Hotel Sebastian. The location was perfect for walking around and exploring this beautiful city. The hotel design is very unique and modern. The best part of our experience was the staff who were all unbelivably warm, friendly and helpful. You can tell that the staff and owners of the hotel really care about you as a guest and want to make sure your experience is excellent in every way. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Amsterdam in a great boutique hotel!

Charm and conveniencePosted Apr 20, 2015
The neighborhood is charming and convenient to great dining, art, and city experiences. What really made this hotel stand out were the staff. Each person we dealt with showed a personal interest in our having the best experience possible in Amsterdam. Their restaurant and guide recommendations were spot on.

Fantastic LocationPosted Apr 20, 2015
I could not fault our recent stay of 6 nights at Sebastian's. We were a party of 3, myself, my mum and my daughter. It's a beautiful boutique hotel with very friendly staff that offer exceptional personal service. Always more than happy to help and extremely friendly. The breakfasts were delicious with endless coffee that tasted great. Wifi was excellent and the beds very comfortable. The staff helped us plan our days and were happy to show us directions on maps to the best places in Amsterdam. Set on the canal and only a short 10 minute walk to Central station, it is a beautiful, picturesque area and a great location. Tari at the main desk was so helpful and lovely. Rick at the bar was helpful and very friendly to talk to while having a drink. He offered suggestions of where to go and printed out maps with directions. Thanks Rick. Stephanie and Anneke were always helpful and attentive for us at breakfast, Thankyou girls and thankyou Hotel Sebastian's...hope to see you again one day!!

Wonderful Boutique HotelPosted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Location and friendly, helpful staff.
Location: Very close to Winkel 43 where everyone goes for the best apple pie. Winkel's is also next to the outdoor market that is an experience in itself.
Great location in Amsterdam Central. Easy 10-minute walk from train station. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you need a good restaurant recommendation, as the staff and ask them to book it. The hotel and rooms are clean, which is always one of my top priorities when booking accommodation. It's also a 5-minute walk to Winkel 43 for the best apple pie you'll ever have!

Lovely hotel with great servicePosted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Great customer service; good heating system, lots of toiletries, coffee maker, mini bar..., delicious breakfast. Rooms well insulated and quiet.
Cons: Heater worked a little too well - room became very warm with the temperature turned up only a little.
Location: Situated on a canal, nice area for walking to Dam Square, 10 minute walk to Central Station, shopping, Old and New Sides. We never used public trans.
We loved this hotel! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and made to feel welcome. The woman at the desk (don't remember her name) asked if we would like a map and if we wanted to hear the highlights in the area; of course we said yes. She was very thorough with the map and where to walk to see local sights and even gave us a separate paper with dozens of restaurants they recommended. After we picked one they offered to call and make a reservation for us. All throughout our stay the staff made us feel welcome and always asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay even better. We found nothing to complain about, everything was top-notch.

Sentralt. Flott. Stille og hyggeligPosted Feb 3, 2015
Hotell fyllt av atmosfære og hyggelig personale. Går langt utenpå de første store kjedehoteller. Anbefales.

A great hotelPosted Feb 2, 2015 on Hotels.com
A very welcoming place to stay. Close to the central train station, a bit of a walk for some parts of the city, but generally a great base to explore from. We arrived early, and while we waited for our room, were provided with drinks and information about the city (including a very helpful map). Will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay. The only downside was the bed was two singles pushed together and ended up with a lump in the middle, but didn't bother us too much. The buffet breakfast is well worth the 10 euro, and is free for the first morning.

Great Setting - Superb servicePosted Feb 1, 2015 on Hotels.com
I couldn't fault anything about my stay. The location is perfect, the layout and decor of this boutique-style hotel is modern and elegant, the bed was large and SO comfortable. The reception, bar and breakfast staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Off the tourist beat, yet with beautiful, surrounding specialist shops on the walk to the museums and a couple of great restaurants just around the corner. A perfect, off-season break.
