The location is great, convenient to the station and is very walkable. As described on the website, it is an old building, so the rooms are small and the floors are a bit creaky. Bed was super comfy and rooms were clean.

Extremely disappointed with the service at Hotel Sebastian. May a simple “human” on the booking dates…tried Tia devise them witching 30 minutes requesting help to change the date (not cancel) and they were unwilling to help. They refused to change the date but had no problem keeping my payment though we were unable to complete the stay.

Loved this Hotel. Hotel Sebastian’s is located in a quaint neighbourhood in Amsterdam. Location is right next to the canals, close to tourist sites, restaurants, and walking distance to the train station. The staff were professional, attentive, friendly, and sociable. Loved the room we were staying in. It was clean and roomy. Our AC did not work and they could not get a technician out until Monday. Thankfully opening the window helped cool the room down. Also the Hotel comped our breakfast for our stay, due to the AC not functioning. I would DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again in the future!!!!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave good directions and helped book tickets for canal boat tour. Numerous emails before arriving giving good information about arriving to hotel, restaurants and other helpful hints. Very nice boutique hotel!

Loved the canal view. It made the stay feel very authentic as you can see the boats, bikers and hear the ducks! The breakfast option was very nice, convenient and affordable. But there were no fruit or vegetable options which was the only negative.

We paid a little extra for a room overlooking the canal! Beautiful windows that open out, to a lovely view. The room was small but well equipped. The hotel has a lift which is helpful as the stairs are steep! 15 euros for a good breakfast & the staff are friendly & helpful.

The hotel is beautiful and location is great. Staff are friendly . The food options for breakfast are good and for $15 it is worth it. The basement room that was assigned to us had a strong fragrance which did not really work for me as I am sensitive to strong scents and the water in the shower stall takes a bit longer to drain. Will avoid the basement room for next time. Thank you.

Only a 12 minute walk from central station. Warm welcome as soon as we arrived and the staff were always helpful and the room kept clean every day. Nice quiet area at nights and with the excellent transport system you are never far from all the great experiences.

Sebastian's was a lovey, clean hotel, and the staff were great. The breakfast was amazing. We unfortunately had a very bad room (001) located in the basement. The noise from upstairs on the reception and walkway was very bad, and it felt like we were in the janitorial area as lots of cleaning stuff and laundry bags were left on the stairs down to the room. The room was also located by the area for staff coming and going which in the morning felt like someone was coming into our room constantly. The room its self-inside was great, but the location of the room was awful. Great location for getting around Amsterdam and the hotel was very nice and clean etc, just don't stay in a basement room if given!!

Really lovely hotel, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was amazing, the bed was so comfortable and the view was lovely. The nespresso coffee machine and coffee cream was a lovely touch and the bathroom was really beautiful- shower was powerful and all was pristine. I didn’t want to leave!

11/10, would definitely stay here again. Such a lovely hotel close to so many landmarks, but quiet as a mouse at night. My fiancé and I loved everything about this place. Friendly staff, cozy rooms, and great atmosphere.

It is possible you found the room dark, because the lights are dimmable, and maybe you did not know that. Amazingly central hotel with luxurious rituals products. Some stuff on the negative were that some items could have been available e.g. complementary water and maybe a powerful hairdryer. But the hotel was up to date and was good. Staff were helpful and allowed us to checkin bags before and after trip. Definitely recommend it and will visit again. Walking distance’s everywhere

THEY CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE VALET PARKING. "Valet parking on site (EUR 65 per day)" THIS IS FALSE. THEY DO NOT HAVE VALET PARKING. THEY HAVE SOME RANDOM SHADY PERSON WHO COME AND TAKE YOUR CAR AWAY. DEMAND 50 EUROS IN CASH AND THEY ONLY SCHEDULE TO BRING YOUR CAR BACK AT A TIME THAT YOU NEED THE NEXT MORNING. OTHER THAN THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CAR. AND THEY DON'T BRING THE CAR ANY OTHER TIME OTHER THAN THE SCHEDULED TIME. THIS IS NOT VALET SERVICE. THIS IS SCAM. THE HOTEL HAS NO OTHER PARKING AVAILABLE ON THE STREET OR ANYWHERE FOR YOU TO SELF PARK. THEY SAY STEEET PARKING IS 70 EUROS BUT THERE IS NO WHERE FOR YOU TO EVEN LEAVE YOUR CAR FOR 5 MINUTES TO LEAVE THE LUGGAGE IN THE HOTEL. THEY ASK YOU TO PARK YOUR CAR ON A BRIDGE ILLEGALLY WITH THE HAZARD LIGHTS ON SO YOU DON'T GET TOWED.

Dear Suheyla,Thank you for taking your time to write a review about Hotel Sebastian's Amsterdam! We are very sorry that we did not match your expectations regarding the hotel valet parking service. Since we are located in the city centre and we do not have our own parking facility we are trying to offer the best service as we can and the only way to do that is to offer valet parking. The reason why we advised you to wait on the bridge is because we do not want you to get a fine of 130EUR while you were waiting for valet parking to pick your car up. The hourly price on the public parking is 7.50EUR per hour which is very expensive. We hope that Amsterdam can meet up your expectations the next time.Warm regards, Melanie, Hotel Sebastian's

Great value for money
This hotel is great. It’s well located and well appointed for the price. My cost double was spotlessly clean, the shower was great and the bed was comfy. My mini bar was not working and my TV had some connection issues but I didn’t try to resolve either and all the things that mattered were great. I would happily stay in the hotel again. For the price it’s a great find.
