Wonderful Hotel walk to many fantastic restaurantsPosted Nov 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Frangipani is a beautiful small hotel on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The manager/owners are very hands on and go out of the way to set up fun activities for their guests. A great hotel in a great location!

THE BEST!Posted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The entire experience of staying at the Frangipani was FANTASTIC. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the pool and beach was pristine, the staff were beyond lovely and helpful and even the food/drinks at the Straw Hat on-site was great (albeit a little expensive but on par with the rest of the island). I would thoroughly recommend the Frangipani for a group of friends, a romantic couples stay or family vacation. Scott the manager is a pleasure to deal with and he and his wife Shannon will make you feel right at home. If you dream of staying at The Viceroy Anguilla but you cant afford, just stay at the Frangipani and enjoy all the comforts there, and pop over to the Viceroy for dinners/sunset drinks :-) You wont be disappointed!

Wonderful place to stay with my familyPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: We liked the quality of service from the staff. We felt pampered.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frangipani. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed the pool and water sports on site. My kids went tubing and waterskiing. We went on a boat ride with the owners of the resort and some of the other guests. We ate at Straw Hat and other nearby restaurants. The food was great. We would come back again in a heartbeat. I even enjoyed early morning runs around Meads Bay.

Fabulous 5 days at FrangipaniPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Frangipani is a beautiful, small hotel on Anguilla. Everyone at the resort (and more generally the island) is very friendly and courteous. They have some fun beach toys available (power boat, small hobies, water board). We had the "NO VIEW" rooms. I was a little worried about it. What this means is that we had double doors that opened onto a small (8'x6') patio that itself had walls on all sides. Was this a big deal? Absolutely not because you're no more then 20 steps from the ocean and there are much nicer places to sit outside all over. The sand on the beach is like powdered sugar and the water very clear 50+ feet. Here are a few caveats, which are more directed at Anguilla than Frangipani. 1) Most restaurants are small and even in the summer YOU NEED RESERVATIONS. I heard that if you are booking for high season, make all reservations before you arrive. 2) Most restaurants are very expensive 3) Taxis are available but absurdly expensive (round trip for 4 less than 1 mile was fifty bucks!) It is much better to rent a car.

Fabulous boutique beach resort hotelPosted Jul 19, 2013
The guest is the center of attention at this fantastic hotel. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his wife - their philosophy is to take everything that they have valued (on the receiving end) in their hoteling experience and build it in to the overall offering at Frangipani. From the warm welcome (and local rum punch) as you arrive to check in, to the infinity pool overlooking the magnificent white sandy beach and azure Caribbean sea, to the spacious well-designed and appointed guest rooms. What really makes this resort hotel (apart from the bricks and mortar), however, are the dedicated staff - truly friendly people you'll meet at the reception, the "Beach Boys" - who will help with the complimentary water sports (sailing, water skiing, kayaking, wake-boarding, just to mention a few), the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff. Bottom line: We loved the location, the service, the friendliness, the food - and we will return
